Weybourne is a traditional coastal village set on winding lanes that lead to the heath land above and the sea below. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the coastline in the village offers a shingle beach and fabulous cliff top walks. The village is famous for being home to the Muckleburgh Military Collection and Weybourne station, where you can hop on the North Norfolk Railway. Set between the elegant Georgian town of Holt to the west, with its mix of art galleries, independent shops, antique haunts, cafe culture, pubs and restaurants and the popular seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham to the east. You can leave the car behind too and take the Coast Hopper Bus Service to discover the rest of the coast from Victorian Cromer to beautiful Brancaster and beyond. Don’t miss out on the beautiful historic houses in the area that are Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall both run by the National Trust.

Reviews

The cottage was lovely in a great location. It has everything you need very very well acquit kitchen comfortable lounge and a small dining area. Good bathroom and shower only negative I will point out is storage in the place when you have a family of four other than that, I would recommend the Cottage it was a great location And a great base to explore Norfolk coastline.

Mr H,

Really nice place Comfortable well equipped and quiet.enjoyed my stay there would have book another week there if the prices didn't go up

Miss F,

I am sure this property would be nice in a warm summer but I stayed at the end of September and found it cold and a bit damp with electric radiators which were hard to programme. It is nicely finished as a holiday let but it was very small especially as advertised for four people - I would say 2 adults maximum as there is very little storage space for all your holiday stuff. It is situated under trees which made it a bit dark but in the summer it must get the afternoon sun on the decking. Weybourne is a nice location and it was within walking distance of the local pub, cafe and coast.

Ms P,

Had a wonderful holiday the weather played nice and we visited Holt on the steam train, Sheringham via the coastal walk and the military museum. Had. Some lovely walks around Weybourne and very good meals at The Ship Inn and the local cafe.the cottage is only small and the storage space not great, but it was warm and everything was as it should be.

Mrs W,

We have stayed at Whistles a number of times now, and have always enjoyed its simplicity, and location: its parkland setting, the Ship Inn (very good Wherry), the village shop, and the beach. And that we can bring the dog. Its also an easy drive to Sherringham, Holt, and Wells next the Sea.

Mr R,
