Reviews

Lovely place to stay in Brighton, great location without being noisy. Highly recommended. Hopefully it will be available on our next visit to Brighton

Mr H,

We had stayed here before in 2023 and liked the accommodation so much that it was our first choice for our next stay in Brighton in 2024. It is a comfortable, well-kept, cosy cottage in a great location. Considering its central location, it is quiet. We would recommend Cheltenham Cottage for your next stay in Brighton.

Mr E,

This cottage was everything we hoped it would be and more. We love the North Laine area of Brighton & visit regularly but have never stayed in the area so this was a real treat for us. This cottage ticked every box, it was spotlessly clean, had everything you could need and the location was absolutely brilliant! To be able to walk to everything in minutes felt like a real luxury, the choice of restaurants, pubs & cafes literally on your doorstep is a real treat particularly for us when we live somewhere completely different. We didn’t eat in at the cottage for any meal (other than a take away

Mrs L,

This was our second visit. We enjoyed it very much, The house is comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The location is great.

Mr D,

Very clean and well-equipped cottage in the heart of Brighton - close to all amenities and within walking distance from the beach. It is an ideal accommodation for a couple or a small family.

Dr D,

Very comfortable, thoughtfully well appointed cottage attractively decorated (and lovely pictures on walls), easy walk to the heart of Brighton, bakeries round each corner. Street outside momentarily "lively" at times (e.g. passing hen night!) Good wi-fi. Steep staircase. Near Victoria Gardens for dog relief (back court yard not really suitable). Good shower (no bath). Car access challenging at first due to local bus/taxi only road restrictions (your satnav may mislead you, beware, use North Road turn left and left again and left again!). Parking an expensive and can be time consuming issue to conjure with - plan ahead.

Mr L,

Nice cottage in excellent location to the city

Mr H,

Great location, very comfortable.

Ms P,

Home from home xx

Mrs C,

V cost, but of a noisy location on Fri and sat night

Mr M,

Lovely cottage on the eastern edge of the beautifully bohemian North Laine district of central Brighton, just a short walk downhill from the train station. Superbly located, with lovely shops, old-fashioned 'independent' bars and restaurants within a stone's throw of the cottage, and many cultural amenities also nearby. At the end of the street is one of the loveliest, friendliest, pubs in the world, The Basketmakers. If we ever move to Brighton, this is the street we would want to live in.

Mr D,

Beautiful cottage close to the Laines and eclectic shops. Lots of pubs and eateries. It is very well equipped and has space for you all to sit down in the lounge area. It's on a narrow one-way street. There's enough space to drop things off and park your car elsewhere. We stayed over Christmas, and it was cosy and warm. I would stay again.

Mr E,

This is the third time we have stayed in this property, its location is central and is an ideal base for us to visit family. Having a secure garden certainly is a bonus with an active spaniel.
