Reviews

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the gearing. The most perfect location, quiet, amazing views and very relaxing. Will be going there again and recommending it to friends and family.

Miss C,

Our stay was too short! Beautiful surroundings, so peaceful. The Gearing was just a nice size, lovely and clean with everything we would need for our stay. Being able to bring the dog was a plus! The hot tub sold it for us and the views from there were amazing. All in all a lovely few days were spent here and we will be looking to book up again for another visit soon! Thanks for being lovely hosts.

Mr S,

Unfortunately the original booking was cancelled due to the owners Ill health, I was called by a lovely lady who explained and apologised and mentioned that some others were available and a link sent or we could choose our own ( the link was pretty useless as most of the properties were for the week before our holiday was booked, this was a waste of time and no help at all). I luckily found The Gearing, this was fabulous, the setting beautiful, the property built to a really high standard,. The owners are the loveliest people, always smiling, about if needed but not intrusive in the slightest. Gilbert was always close by and was never too busy for a chat This is a working farm too so was fabulous seeing the sheep being herded up to be sheared, lovely walks in the area and really peaceful. We will hopefully return again soon.

Miss Sue A,
