Description

This is a very attractive stone holiday cottage, used regularly by the owners family. Situated in the lovely 5 property development of Beadnell House Court in the grounds of Beadnell House, the property is in the centre of the old village of Beadnell just minutes from the stunning beaches of Beadnell Bay, and close to the village's local amenities - village shop, church, choice of 2 pubs/restaurants and a fish and chip shop. Beadnell is popular with divers exploring the off shore wrecks, walkers and beach strollers, and joins the coastal path going north to Seahouses and Bamburgh or south towards Alnmouth along the beautiful Heritage Coastline. Excellent golf courses are within easy reach with Seahouses, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh being notable local links courses. Or take a memorable boat trip from Seahouses Harbour to see the National Trust's Farne Islands. Land on Inner Farne, spot the local seal population and imagine Grace Darling's heroic adventures. The village makes an ideal centre for a family coastal holiday! Coble Cottage has a ground floor bedroom with easy access shower room making it ideal for those who may be less mobile.

The overall layout is suitable for extended families or friends getting together and the local amenities offer a wide choice for activities, from rock pooling for the kids, to long walks on miles of sandy beaches, golfing, horse riding, cycling, and watersports.

Reviews

A lovely, clean, well equipped cottage in a good location with a small but very nice rear courtyard.

Mrs M,

This is a really nice property and location, but a little bit spoiled with some maintenance and cleaning issues, which have been highlighted to the owners. Parking spaces are really tight, one of us had to use the visitors parking space as we couldn’t get both our cars in (SUV’s). Overall a really good stay, well equipped with all you need.

Mr M,

A nice place to stay but in need of a bit more thought for ease of use and comfort to make it even better. Outside courtyard lovely with good seating and pretty surroundings.Beadnell is a good location for eating out and having access to the many wonderful places in Northumberland.

Mrs M,

We had a wonderful week at Coble cottage. It was very well equipped and met the needs of our family of three generations in a great way. The location was ideal, being in walking distance of the beach, shop and lots of eating places.

Mrs S,

Absolutely perfect!

Mrs L,

A lovely cottage in a great location

Mr E,

Lovely cottage with enough room for 3 generations. Beautiful courtyard garden.

Mrs M,
