Description
A charming property that sits on the periphery of the picturesque village of Charlestown within a quiet residential community, a destination that’s renowned for its Georgian architecture and harbour and as the backdrop for the popular TV series, Poldark. Meander through the streets and discover a variety of cafes, restaurants, and speciality shops, and marvel at the majestic tall ships docked in the harbour. Take in a story of ancient times at the Shipwreck Treasure Museum and see the impressive collection of shipwreck artefacts, or enjoy a beach day on the delightful sand and shingle beach which is sheltered by the harbour wall. From here, you can also join the South West Coast Path for glorious walks in either direction with stunning views. Within a 12-mile radius, local attractions include the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan, the biomes at the Eden Project, and Caerhays Castle and Gardens which has an international reputation for camellias and rhododendrons.
As you arrive at the property, you can park your vehicle in the driveway and make your way through the front door into the hallway which provides hooks for your outdoor attire. Moving on through brings you to the comfortable living room complete with a stylish sofa, two armchairs and a Smart TV, providing ample space for everyone to gather. Leading off the living room is the kitchen where you’ll find good facilities for cooking at home along with the dining table for four. Additionally, there is a ground-floor cloakroom with WC and a back door leading out to the garden. Upstairs, the spacious king-size bedroom overlooks the rear garden, and features two large wardrobes for your storage needs. The twin bedroom at the front of the house is filled with natural light and has a built-in storage cupboard. The bathroom serves the two bedrooms providing the choice of a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower.
At the back of the house, there is a small, enclosed courtyard with a metal staircase leading up to a terrace. The outdoor space has been designed with simplicity in mind to make the most of the position and is the perfect spot to enjoy dining in the sunshine during the evenings.
