Description

Perfect for couples planning a Cornish adventure together, this delightful shepherd’s hut is ideally located for exploring Cornwall’s very best beaches, towns and villages, attractions, and walking trails. Nearby highlights that are all within 30 miles include the world-famous Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, National Marine Aquarium, Jamaica Inn, and several National Trust properties and gardens. Celebrated for its breathtaking scenery, the region is a paradise for avid walkers, and you can join the twisting South West Coast Path in nearby Wadebridge (13 miles).

On arrival to this unique, peaceful property, take a moment to appreciate the surrounding greenery that sets the tone for your tranquil, nature-immersed getaway. Step inside and uncover a charming, studio-style living space that combines all the comforts and amenities needed for a restful stay. Start by firing up the crackling wood burner, before turning your attention to the well-appointed kitchenette. Here, find everything you need to cook up a romantic feast for two, and sit down inside to enjoy the chef’s work, or alfresco-style outside. At the end of the night, let the wood burner settle, then retire to the sumptuous double bed, and kickstart each morning with a soak in the en-suite shower room.

Outside, to the front of the property, you’ll find a secluded patio area laid to gravel. Unwind out here in the private hot tub, not forgetting to light the fire pit to keep you warm during your al fresco dinner using the BBQ. With the River Fowey at your feet, and outdoor furniture and sun loungers at the ready, this is a fantastic spot to relax each day. Private, off-road parking is also available for two cars.

Reviews

Couldn’t recommend this place more. The location was be more perfect, it’s lovely and private but close enough to Looe (25 mins away) and other local places. The shepherds hut is spacious and well equipped, clean and comfy! It’s sat in a beautiful spot right in front of the river and the hot tub is the perfect way to end the day. Lovely owners too! :)

Miss W,

Absolutely amazing, beautiful location and very thought out facilities. Such a romantic place to stay and would highly recommend people to stay there

Mrs E,

Honestly the most relaxed holiday we’ve had in a long while. Sitting in the hot tub or around the fire whilst listening to the river flowing and watching the dragonflies dancing. Everything cooked on the bbq, although there is a hob you can use. It was a real sensory experience. Thank you for choosing such a picturesque setting so close to the river. We didn’t choose to venture very far as it was lovely not feeling the need to drive anywhere however we did find it was an easy walk to the pub through the countryside. A beautiful shepherds hut topped it all off. Will definitely be back .
