This is a lovely cottage close to the harbour, with good views. It's specious and well-appointed, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. As regards the booking process, I received no fewer than five emails - one confirming my booking and the rest 'preparin'g me for my stay, three of which contained the same attachement - which seemed like overkill to me!

Denzils is a beautiful cottage. A real home from home in the heart of the village. Very well equipped with everything you need. Warm, cosy and comfortable

Denzils is a cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean base for a holiday in the beautiful Fowey estuary. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. There’s a new bathroom with good shower. The double bed was large and super comfy. The lounge has wonderful views of the estuary and a great spot for home working. WiFi was patchy. TV was good with Netflix and Prime available. Step outside and you’re within yards of wonderful views and access to the ferry and shop. Will definitely be returning.

Ideally placed for the amenities of Polruan and the regular foot passenger ferry to Fowey Denzils is a well equipped cottage with panoramic views across the harbour.

This was our second stay at Denzils and again we enjoyed every moment. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped.

Denzils is a lovely cottage with a beautiful view of the estuary . As it’s on 3 levels the stairs may not be suitable for everyone but the sitting room at the top is very nicely furnished and the views are amazing . The bay window is great to sit with a coffee and watch life on the river, very relaxing. The kitchen is very well equipped and it soon felt like home. The extra touches with the welcome packs of not only teas and coffees etc but goodies of Welsh cakes, biscuits etc was lovely . There are so many little lanes and alleys to explore the village and the coastal path . A beautiful quiet place to relax in.

Very comfortable, beautifully furnished, and I'd a lovely location. We loved Denzils and will be back before too long.

Everything I needed and nice and clean. Cottage was well equipped and the views so relaxing.

Amazing views from Denzils! The accommodation is well equipped & comfortable. Polruan is beautiful, with the coastal path on the doorstep to enjoy. The local bus is handy to travel into Polperro & Looe. Great beaches nearby too.

We have stayed at Denzil's for many years now so we do like the cottage. The new settees and cooker were good.

We had a wonderful few days there. It was a good cottage in a lovely location. The views were good too. We really enjoyed Fowey and took the bus to Polperro so didn't have to use the car at all.

Just home from a really lovely stay at Denzils, it had more than we needed in the way of equipment, very nicely decorated and just a lovely home to be in for a week.

We have just returned home after a wonderful and relaxing week staying at Denzils. The cottage is very well-equipped and comfortable and we loved the spacious lounge area on the top floor. I particularly enjoyed working on my jigsaw at the desk with its views over the river to Fowey. We hope to return again soon.

Beautiful cottage down the bottom of the village with superb views from the top floor and a short walk to the beach. Everything you could need for a great holiday. A real home from home

Lovely comfortable property in a great location, great for a couple, can sleep three people. Kitchen well equipped and it was easy to cook a lovely dinner and sit in the kitchen. Local pubs within short walking distance or hop on the ferry over to Fowey for dinner. Peaceful and beautiful will come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Denzils, perfect for our plan to walk sections of the south west coast path. We followed others advice and took a couple of puzzles to do - using the perfect table space in the lounge bay. Fantastic views from the lounge which was a cosy spot to relax in after a day walking the coast path. Lovely comfy bed and good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Polruan is a charming village and we also enjoyed popping over to Fowey on the ferry, we barely used the car all week!

Polruan is a beautifully quite location, the cottage was perfect stunning views from the sitting room, the locals are very helpful and friendly..the 2 pubs were great..I'd you want piece and quiet this is the place..big hills though...be prepared for walking up big hill.

We had a lovely 3 days in Denzils. It's so very nicely set up: a terrific living room! Welcoming and spacious. The sort of place we love: 'close to the beating heart of Polruan' would describe it! Check out the spaces and arrangements for parking on the Quay, before paying for the main town car park (quite a bit further than the Quay)
