Description
As you walk into Tidewatch and out to the rear of this spectacularly-located house you cannot help but exclaim WOW out loud! The views from this property are incredible! The expansive deck, which is accessed from the living room and ground floor bedroom, is bathed in light and on sunny days you'll spend most of your time out here. Perched on the hillside looking over the town taking in the ancient St Fimbarrus Church spire, Place Tower and glorious river views, there is so much to see. The delightful garden has been terraced beautifully and provides both formal and informal seating options as well as a charming summerhouse with carefully-positioned windows to also take in the views. With feature outdoor lighting, a sociable al fresco dining area and beautiful, established planting you can understand why guests love the outside space here. The convenient gate at the bottom of the garden takes you out and just a short walk down the hill to the town centre to enjoy the varied food scene, independent shops and galleries. A stroll to Readymoney Cove makes a lovely morning dog walk or head further afield onto the stunning coast path towards Gribben Head.

Location
If you haven't yet discovered Fowey, you've got a treat in store. Full of multicoloured cottages, perched on the hillsides leading down to the sea, this little fishing town has lots to tempt visitors.
There is an entrancing collection of unique local shops and boutiques, along with harbourside cafes, pubs which will give you a hearty welcome and a good atmosphere, and restaurants offering tempting local produce. If you want a unique insight into the local species in these waters, you could visit Fowey Aquarium, whose residents include specimens brought in by local fishermen.
If you're a fan of Daphne du Maurier, you may want to visit the Literary Centre, which gives information and exhibits about the author and her life and work. There is also the Fowey Festival of Words and Music, held in May, in which du Maurier, and many other authors, artists and musicians, are celebrated. Another great spectacle is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in August.
Fowey lies within one of the many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall, and the backdrop of the surrounding countryside, with its tidal creeks, rolling fields and rugged cliffs, will make you want to return here again and again.
