Description
Set in a perfect waterside location in Polruan is the delightful, reverse-level Seacroft offering family groups and friends the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful coastal area. With estuary and harbour views from all the main rooms, this house is all about the waterfront position. Seacroft occupies the upper two floors of an imposing house set back from the water with a shared access across the lawn to the set of steps leading down to the river.
Seacroft's large, light-filled, open-plan living area boasts panoramic views over the estuary. The well-appointed bespoke Neptune kitchen enjoys the same outlook and the dining area, which has a Juliet balcony, also opens onto the private deck and seating area. With dual access from the lounge also, this is an ideal spot for a peaceful breakfast or evening sundowner watching the maritime activity which changes throughout the day. Four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms on the lower level complete the accommodation.

Please also note that the lawn is not available for guest use (just for accessing the quay) and the use of the quay is completely at the guest's own risk.
Location
Polruan's position on a headland jutting out into the estuary meant that it once had great importance as a lookout point. Now, visitors can share the same commanding views from the headland looking out to sea, and across to Fowey on the far bank.
While up here, gazing out into the distance, you may spot sea birds and other wildlife, and maybe even the odd seal. Much of the area is not only an AONB, but also a Special Area of Conservation, so that it can be preserved for future generations.
Like most villages in the area, the primary industry has always been fishing, however the locals are very welcoming to visitors, and tourism has taken its place.
Walkers will find the landscape to be ideal for hiking, or if you prefer just a gentle stroll, there are lots of options available. Upon your return, you can relax with a meal or drink in The Lugger Inn, or hop on the ferry and visit one of the pubs or cafes in Fowey.
