Reviews

Lovely comfortable little home from home, had everything we needed. The cleaning pack and welcome pack were a really nice touch. The towels and bedding were good quality too

Mrs B,

The cottage was in a quite place it was very clean there was enough car space on the premises, it was a bit of a walk into the main town but we did not mind. It was in a good position to stay to go and see other places. Also if you need a supermarket and petrol they are a short drive away

Mrs L,

Lovely towels and bedding great location I would rate the cottage as 3 star not 4. There is no comfort when sitting in the lounge as sofa is very uncomfortable. As the house has bedroom downstairs it is very noisy on squeaky floorboards when one person is in bed and the other upstairs.

Mrs S,

A well-positioned cottage with fantastic views of St Michael’s Mount over Mount’s bay. Ideal for walking into the town for a bite to eat or a drink in the evening. A lovely bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. It was a well equipped place to stay and we would love to come back another time.

Mrs E,

The property is in a very good location with a view over Mounts Bay and only 5-10 minutes walk away from the centre of the town and the causeway . The car parking space is right outside and was fine for our estate car. It was a very comfortable place to stay for two of us. Two things to be aware of in advance: no cleaning products were provided so make sure you bring washing up liquid, soap, washing liquid and cloths/sponge and the cafetière is a one- person one (one mug). Fresh flowers and a welcome pack of a cream tea with tea, coffee and milk provided were much appreciated.

Mrs W,

We LOVED our stay and will book again a great location for all the places we love - Mousehole, Porthleven, Hayle, Portreath and Coverack - Including Kresen Kernow at Redruth. The views are fabulous of the bay and St Michaels Mount all times of the day and night always something to look at. Very light and airy, lovely being upstairs looking outside, if you have a dog good being downstairs for going out in the night! Big bathroom very fresh light and modern with beautiful big white towels - this is where the washer dryer is and all you would need pegs etc Large bedroom extremely comfortable bed and pillows had really good sleeps

Mrs C,

We had a nice and comfortable stay at chy merthan east, the view from the window giving a wonderful view of st Michael’s Mount. Comfortable bed, Quiet location, enjoyed our stay.

Mrs M,

The cottage was very clean ,comfortable bed ,well equipped and the cream tea was and milk was a nice touch We would certainly stay again.

Mr W,

Very comfortable, warm and cosy house. Extremely light and bright. Stunning view. Would highly recommend.

Miss B,

The view is in reality even better than on the pictures. The cottage has everything needed and is overall really nice.

Mrs W,

Perfect location. Very dog friendly. Excellent stay.

Mr S,

We stayed here in 2022 and decided to return in 2023.

Mr E,

Brilliant spot with amazing views of St Michaels Mount. Lovely and modern and super warm. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Short walk from the village with pub at the end of the road which served excellent fresh fish. Lots to see and do in the area. Big bonus is dog friendly too. Would highly recommend. We also received a generous welcome pack on arrival of scones, jam and clotted cream - delicious and much appreciated.
