Reviews

A wonderful place to stay with 8 adults a baby and 2 dogs. Everything from the welcome pack for both people and 4 legged friends, to the fabulous different spaces in the property were perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped and the little extra touches were delightful. A great area to explore with walks from the doorstep. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Mrs D,

The house exceeded all of our expectations, it is appointed so beautifully and each of the rooms are more stunning than the others. We felt spoilt and comfortable at the same time. The welcome pack was thoughtful. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for sharing this stunning house with others.

Mrs P,

An outstanding property perfect for a family get together. So much room for 8 adults, 1 child, 3 infants and 2 dogs. It exceeded expectations and the owners should be so proud.

Mr B,

An amazing cottage, wonderful place to meet and spend the weekend with family. The cottage was really clean and so comfortable, we’d love to go back and stay there again. The hosts are extremely generous and very thoughtful/helpful. Thank you.

Mrs H,

December 28th...I booked this cottage for my family after having had an extremely emotional and exhausting last few months of 2024 We all needed some R & R in lorry loads...and that's just what we received. It was an amazing place to stay and I really don't know where to start as I could enthuse on every room and it's contents. So much attention has been given to detail. The kitchen in particular was stocked with everything you could possibly wish for, indeed I did notice that most of the equipment came from John Lewis, not what you expect to see in a holiday rental but then again this isn't your usual holiday home The bed linen was 100% cotton and bathroom towels were huge and very comforting (I took a note of the name of the towels they were so absorbing and fluffy...will definitely get some myself) We booked for five days and in that time we only went out once as we were so cosy and warm with the lovely log fires and an efficient heating system. Spending Twixmas at Delacy was such an enjoyable time for my children, grandchildren and myself... bringing peace and warmth. I cannot comment on the surrounding areas as we didn't explore however we did take a stroll into the village centre - it hosts a small shop with limited items but enough for what we wanted and a pub... not the most hospitable establishment, one drink and we left...shame as it had so much potential Would I return to Delacy? Like a shot...and I will do one day.

Mrs S,

An absolutely amazing 5* property! Everything anyone could possibly need to enjoy the perfect break, from the welcome basket when we arrived, the more than adequate kitchen supplies, the rooms furnished to a very high standard, including luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms that were very well equipped with towels and toiletries. Towels and robes were even supplied for the hot tub. I don't think anything could have made our stay more perfect! Would highly recommend this property.....

Mrs G,

Superb house in every way.

Mr W,

Excellent property with plenty of room for a large family. Very well equipped. Liked the layout. Found the people in the area very friendly.

Mr D,

A lovely house with fantastic facilities. Clean, stylish and decent value for money. We'll be back!

Mr M,

What a wonderful house. It is so stylish and the attention to detail and the finish is amazing. We spent far too much time going from room to room looking at individual beams and the skilled carpentry, that we had to sometimes remind ourselves to go and spend time with our guests! :) It was perfect for our 60th birthday celebration, in particular the amazing open plan kitchen / lounge / dining / hot tub area which enabled us to have a wonderfully sociable time. We could make so many positive comments, as the quality of the finish is excellent, with a real touch of class. The house has a unique homely feel to it with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was superbly equipped and there were ample provisions for our large group. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious; including fluffy towels and robes. On top of this, the village is incredibly interesting and we had many wonderful walks from the door, and enjoyable meals, including a great Sunday roast at The Bell on the green. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to return.

Mrs S,

Mr M,

We have rented holiday properties for years and this holiday was amazing. The interior design is stunning. The facilities and attention to detail - just perfect - we didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be coming back to our second home Delacy ♥️ if you want to rejuvenate and enjoy life - Delacy ticks all the boxes ♥️

Mrs O,

We really enjoyed our stay at the immaculate Delacy cottage and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is peaceful traditional village, great for exploring the Cotswolds and easy to reach. The cottage itself is a beautifully decorated mix of a charming English cottage and modern design, which felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the modern conveniences you could want. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and relaxing, with the master bedroom in particular providing a great night’s sleep. The enclosed outdoor space was also a great addition for outside dining in the sun, relaxing in the hot tub, and really convenient for our dog, with lots of great walks nearby too. We can’t recommend this cottage enough, we had such a lovely relaxing time and can’t wait to return one day. 5 stars!
