Description

Manor Farm is packed full of charm and boasts chic, high-quality interiors. There is ample living space and everything you need to relax and enjoy a break in the countryside. You are spoilt for choice with two reception rooms to choose from, one more formal with open fire and the other a snug with large TV and writing desk. Each bedroom has been beautifully designed with tasteful furnishing and comfortable beds; so you’ll be sure to have a good night’s sleep here. The courtyard area, one of the many outside spaces, benefits from the sun all day and is the perfect spot to enjoy a cold glass of your favourite tipple on a hot summer’s day. Have a fun filled evening making your own pizzas and cooking them in the outside pizza oven. Or for the days when you don’t feel like cooking then pop to the local fish and chip shop in the nearby village of Buxton – don’t be put off by the queue, it’s worth it! The Broads National Park and a day out in Norwich is less than half an hour away. This is the perfect getaway for families or a group of friends to make fun memories and spend days exploring all that Norfolk has to offer. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 2 miles

Pets: Two well behaved pet welcome. Please be aware of our booking information regarding pets.

Notes: This is a non-smoking property. Mobile signal: variable. The stairs are steep and winding with some low ceilings, please take care and assess suitability for the very young and very old.

This is a lovely cottage, very well situated for exploring both the Norfolk Broads and the coastline. It's completely private with no nearby neighbours, very comfortable and well equipped for 8 people. It has a lovely garden and we also hired the hot tub which was fun. Note that the staircases are very steep (especially to the second floor) and not suitable for those less mobile or young children.

Superb cottage in a great location. Extremely well equipped, we had everything we needed. Beautifully kept and secure garden which was ideal for our labrador. We loved the British White cows, tiny owls and the early morning sunrises from the upstairs windows. Not suitable for the infirm or young children because of staircases, otherwise excellent.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, immaculately clean and very well equipped. Lots of period character but also every modern comfort such as smart lighting and heating. Everything had been thought of. Lots of lovely extra touches too such as very good quality bed linen and towels, toiletries included and so on. We loved watching the sunrises and sunsets from the dining room and the peaceful location. Overall a really excellent cottage.

This is a beautiful property set in a pretty, rural location which is ideal for walks locally and also ideal for exploring Norfolks coastal towns and beaches. We enjoyed a really special time with our grown up children over the Christmas/new year holidays. There's plenty of space to spread out and also to come together. The owners have really thought about the layout, equipment/fridges/washing machine/sound system to make it work. Lots of games to play and we hired the hot tub too which was fun. The open fire and wood stove were so cosy The finish and interiors are a high standard and the bedrooms had comfy beds and linen. The bedrooms were flexible and could be made in to twins/kings etc Worth noting that the staircases are not great for the less mobile, even still we'd highly recommend and would return time after time. Location

Hevingham is a small, rural village in a central position for exploring some of Norfolk's finest attractions. There are plenty of walking and cycling paths, such as the Marriott's Way, the Bure Valley and Weavers Way and there are numerous golf courses and fishing lakes within a few miles. The Norfolk Broads are an easy drive away, where you can enjoy a river cruise, hire a boat by the day or explore the waterways with the Canoe Man who will take you on a nature trail into some of the more secret locations found here. All the family will enjoy a ride on the Bure Valley narrow gauge railway, which takes you from Wroxham to the charming, Georgian market town of Aylsham. Within a thirty minute drive, you can enjoy North Norfolk and its wide sandy beaches. The cathedral city of Norwich with all its cultural attractions and shopping opportunities is approximately 20 minutes by car. Norfolk abounds with National Trust properties with Blickling and Felbrigg being the closest. There is so much to do in this part of Norfolk, one visit probably isn't going to be enough!
