Reviews

The perfect little place we could have wished for during our foodie adventure to Padstow. Brilliant location, cosy, very comfortable, well equipped, beautifully clean and perfect in every way. Right in the heart of everything but still quiet and peaceful, just lovely, thank you.

Mr Y,

Can't emphasis enough how fabulous laying in bed and looking straight out, across living area, through front windows to sand and sea is! This little apartment has everything you need gadget/utensil wise and is so well organised in it's use of space that you never feel cramped- ceiling slopes in kitchen, but at 5 ft10 I soon got used to it- not a biggie. Immaculately clean Quality accommodation. Bed is comfy. Shower is powerful. Balcony is a joy- though not peaceful as Padstow harbour is very busy- but we liked that (you can feel a bit on show, but it's especially lovely for morning coffee and evening drinks, after crowds go) So close to brilliant pubs/restaurants/shops- ferry over to rock is 2 minutes walk. Path to beach likewise. Ferry to rock runs every 15 minutes and then you can enjoy rock beach- great for swimming and sheltered, or walk to Daymer bay (half an hour )- café and toilets(40p!!) Or onto Polzeath (1.5ish hours) boogie boarding/surfing. Lots of facilities. We hope to return for sure- loved it.

Mrs S,

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!! Nothing else to say, would love to return

Miss S,

We've stayed in Padstow for years and this was hands down the best we've stayed in. Location perfect and size of appt for a couple was spot on. We will re-book.

Mr R,

Wonderful first time stay at Upperdeck. Prime location with property fitted out with all mod cons anyone might require. Easy access to variety of pubs, restaurants and beaches. Recommend to all - but not in the week we want to book in 2025 for return visit !

Mr R,

Very comfortable warm and cosy apartment. Wonderful views over the harbour and across to Rock. Great walks across the coastal path. A very relaxing holiday after a hectic Christmas and New Year.

Mrs L,

Beautiful little place overlooking the Harbour. I could also see Rock and watch the ferry. Even though small it had everything we wanted and space was planned really well. We really enjoyed Upperdeck and Padstow .

Mr R,

It was our second stay at Upperdeck. The property is clean, comfortable and of a very high standard. Very well placed overlooking the harbour. It has a lovely balcony which was nice to people watch (and four legged friends)! Would highly recommend staying here. Hopefully back again soon!

Mrs Jane G,

Lovely standard of accommodation right on the Harbour wall giving fantastic views of the Harbour and estuary where you can people watch or the comings and goings of Harbour traffic. The coastal path with its fantastic views is also quite literally on your doorstep. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to friends.

Mr F,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
