Reviews

The house was perfect for a fun family holiday

Mr G,

The cottage was beautiful and the well kept gardens. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms all to a very high standard. Wifi was hit and miss, plenty of kitchen equipment i.e. pots, pans, cutlery. The most used room i would say was the games room it was loved by us adults and my 4 grandchildren!! Lots of fridge and freezer space too, very helpful have the extra fridge. 10/10 outstanding!

Mrs W,

This is a beautiful big house that will accommodate large families, without ever feeling on top of each other. The furnishings are dated, but in theme with the house in general. The beds are extremely comfortable, three bathrooms and two living areas, albeit we only used one. The WiFi is hit and miss

Miss P,

Perfect house for a large group, lovely large dining room can seat 10, beautiful gardens all around, and we all loved the table tennis!

Ms M,

Excellent house good area not to far from beach and padstow plenty of room

Mr W,

Location

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
