Description

Situated in the popular village of Robin Hood's Bay on the Yorkshire Coast The Nook is an ideal family seaside home from home. This delightful three bedroomed bungalow with a large enclosed garden and parking is spacious and furnished to a high standard. It is set on one level with an access for a wheelchair and it may be suitable for people with limited mobility. The Nook is situated at the top of the village with easy access to pubs and restaurants.

A comfortable cottage in a lovely setting. A few issues are easily ironed out but we would visit again. A quiet, peaceful location with an excellent bus service to Whitby and Scarborough. Lovely pubs and food outlets. Great base for walks too

The nook was in a perfect location and had plenty of space for our family of 6. The garden was great for the children to run around in. Ideal location for getting to the beach and also for the Cleveland way and other local walks. We especially liked the book of walks and managed to do four of them during our stay. Lovely welcome hall for tea, coffee and biscuits too and the kitchen supplies were very good.

This beautiful home was in the perfect location for us. My 3 year old loved the garden and was safe running up and down the little path in the middle of it. The house is very spacious but also felt nice and cosy. Lots of hot water. The 3rd bedroom has a glass panel in the door but we just put a towel over it so no sunlight came through from the skylight in the hallway. The closest pub is at the end of the street that has lovely food. The post office/spa/ice cream shop is a 2 minute walk and the Victoria pub with its beautiful views from the beer garden just a 5 minute walk away. This walk is still relatively flat, just past the Victoria pub the hill down into the bay starts. The children's play area is just over the road from the pub next to the caravan park. Robin hoods bay itself is just beautiful, we would love to come back and stay here again. We took trips to whitby, scarborough, Staithes and saltburn on sea. Just a beautiful coast line and we were lucky with the weather.

An excellent property. Very comfortable and well-equipped with everything a guest will need. The only drawbacks were a blocked toilet in the small bedroom's bathroom, and a faulty lock on the main bathroom door. But overall a lovely spacious bungalow.

Very comfortable holiday let in a fantastic position,close to all the amenities in Robin Hood Bay and just off the Cinder track. 10 Minutes drive to Whitby and with bus services every half hour or so everywhere easy to get to. All round a very good place to stay.
