Reviews

This cottage was very comfortable and relaxing in the main and was well thought out. The views are stunning and particularly enjoyable from the hot tub!

Mrs S,

The cottage is lovely, with fantastic views out the back. Layout us well thought through with the downstairs bedroom, stairs and 1st floor bedrooms separate to the kitchen and living areas. Plenty of space and we'll equipped. Some family games and some dvds for evening entertainment if you wanted it. A welcome back of welsh baked goods, tea coffee and milk was very much appreciated after our long journey. The cottage was ideally situated for exploring the area around Mount Snowdon. A local Tesco express in the village was handy for essentials, with larger supermarket choices in Bangor. For the nature lovers there was plenty of bird life to watch and we were frequently serenaded by a pair of Tawny Owls in the early evenings. We spent many an hour watching the light change over the mountains, it was very beautiful.

Mrs B,

A delightful well equipped property in a quiet location with superb views. ideal location for a peaceful holiday yet with only short car journeys to many attractions, restaurants etc Would happily confidently recommend as a good base and accommodation for touring that part of North Wales.

Mr B,

Appreciated the welcome pack, thank you. The views and location of the property are the strong points. It is ideal for visiting Anglesey, Snowdonia and N. Wales coast. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. We made good use of the BBQ as the weather was very kind to us. Love visiting Wales and will no doubt return to another region in the future.

Mr B,

We were so lucky to find Ty Gwair. In such a beautiful location. A real home from home. The owner is a lovely lady, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area. There is so much to do we will have to go back for another holiday soon we hope.

Mrs P,

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ty Gwair. There was good space for our party of six adults. The cottage was well equipped. Three bathrooms was very handy! We enjoyed using the hot tub in the afternoons/evenings even though the weather wasn't that great. The view of the mountains from the garden and conservatory is spectacular. It was a great base for visiting Eryri, Bangor, Caernarfon and Anglesey. We had some lovely walks in the area. The little Tesco in Bethesda is well stocked and handy. Owner was lovely and welcoming. There was a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival.

Mrs D,

Absolutely loved it here. Views were stunning, many evenings spent watching the sun go down over the mountains in conservatory. Very well laid out, there were 7 of us staying and we could all find space to ourselves if required. The lady that owns the house is just lovely. Would highly recommend this place.

Mrs L,

Very nice cottage which was warm and gave us the space we needed, We appreciated the milk, eggs, tea and bara brith in the cottage when we arrived. Peaceful and good location to explore the Llyn peninsularand north west Wales.

Mr E,

Excellent cottage to explore North West Wales from. Clean, cosy and welcoming with an excellent selection of welcome goodies on arrival. Have already recommended to family and friends.

Mrs G,

Perfect location for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales. Well equipped property and the hot tub was a real bonus.

Ms M,

The property was in a great location to explore beautiful Wales. We visited Anglesey a couple of times and climbed Snowdon. Stunning waterfall on Watkin path. Great walks from the property. Val (owner) was very welcoming and easily contacted if needed.
