Reviews

A lovely house in a great location. Clean, warm and functional. Owners were very considerate to check in we were ok. We had our 2 dogs with us and they were comfortable. Really useful to have amenities nearby. We would definitely rent again and would recommend this as a great base for exploring the area.

Ms R,

Well equipped and comfortable cottage in a great location. Dog friendly with a fully enclosed grassed garden. We had a lovely time.

Mrs M,

Great location, everything you need

Mr V,

Fabulous holiday house - every thing catered for and all of a very high quality

Mr A,

Overall Ocean Breeze is a lovely home from home. Top quality bedding, towels, crockery & kitchenware. Kate the owner was very helpful, attentive & easily contactable. Seahouses is an excellent location to explore the best of Northumberland

Mrs H,

A beautiful house on the outskirts of seahouses. It was so well equipped and the owners had put a lot of thought into providing everything for a family holiday. It was very clean and so comfortable. Highly recommended.

Mrs B,

A great location and within walking distance of beaches , main shopping area and harbour. The house is clean and comfortable . warm welcome and sure to return .

Mr F,

Lovely welcoming house in a good location. Kate came to introduce herself and left her number for us if any issues. Problem with dishwasher, Kate was very responsive and did her best to fix it whilst we were there, but it was not to be. However this didn’t’t detract from the lovely break we had there. Would definitely recommend this house.

Mrs H,

The house was beautifully presented in a lovely location, very comfortable beds and great showers, lovely secure garden for our four legged girl and good parking.

Mrs C,

Location great and owners superb. But, it’s a tight squeeze and we had four adults and two children - kitchen door won’t open if you’re in the fridge for something lol and once. Dishwasher and drains broke and blocked all week and the front door is dodgy to lock but they’ve been reported so hopefully be fixed soon (although we waited all week) - not the owners fault at all, they really tried to help Once you’re sat for dinner you’re in, unless everyone moves, it’s very tight - Photos must have been done with fish eye lens lol. Super clean and lovely welcome though. Great location. Expensive for what you get - and we do this area twice a year but it was Easter…maybe that’s why so expensive . Floors all laminate down and upstairs without lining so it’s an echo-y house. Every. Single. Step. Can be heard in every room no matter where you are. The owner really was lovely but I wouldnt star again. Have put a no to recommend but if there’s only 4 of you, it would be a yes to recommend.

Mrs F,

Great location close to beach and 5 mins walk to town. Really well equipped and lovely comfortable beds. Would definitely use it again

Mrs F,

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Breeze. The property was very clean and well equipped, even included pooh bags so the lovely enclosed garden could be kept pristine. Delightful welcome tray included some lovely local treats but maybe some milk for a welcome cuppa would have been nice. It was close to all the amenities of Seahouses, as well as being just a ten minute walk beside the golf course to a good stretch of sandy beach, ideal for walking the dogs. Although dogs are not allowed upstairs, there's plenty of space for all the family downstairs (we were a party of 5). We would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation to book again.
