Description
This is a surprising property. It is beautifully appointed with laminate flooring on the ground floor and carpets on the top floor. It is spacious and cosy at the same time with a lovely gas log-burner for those cooler evenings and a garden to the rear for warmer times. The kitchen is large and well equipped with access to the garden. It is close to a family-run pub, The King’s Arms, which is well known for their delicious home cooked food. Harmony Cottage is within walking distance of the seaside, shops and the Jurassic Coast Centre. A must to visit.
Location: Situated on the edge of the up-and-coming town of Seaton, within easy reach of the beach (approximately 10 minutes walk). There are local shops with good bakeries and butchers, plus two supermarkets, all within an easy walk.
Accommodation: Entrance into a small lobby with hanging space for coats and a shoe stand for outdoor wear. A second doorway opens into the sitting room. The pretty sitting room has a window seat, two 2-seater sofas, and a gas log-burner fire, surrounded with stone: all very comfortable to curl up and watch the flames or the Smart TV and also a DVD player. The whole of the ground floor has wood laminate flooring.
Up two steps into the large ‘L’ shaped kitchen with light wood laminate worktops and white fronted cupboards above and below. The boiler is housed in a cupboard with easy access. The equipment comprises of a washing machine, dishwasher, larder fridge, small chest freezer, gas hob with four burners and two ovens below, microwave, blender, toaster and kettle. There is a table with four chairs. Door to pretty courtyard garden with new feature garden room and additional table, chairs and parasol - perfect for dining al fresco.

Please note that the stairs are fairly steep but it does have two securely fitted hand rails from top to bottom.

The double bedroom at the front of the property has a window seat which overlooks the countryside beyond. A double pine bed with matching bedside tables and lamps. Pine wardrobe, chest of drawers, hair dryer and an occasional chair.
The second bedroom is a single with light pine bed and matching bedside table and lamp and wardrobe with drawers below.
The whole of the property is furnished to a high standard with excellent soft furnishings.
Outside: In 2021 a garden room was added, ideal for relaxing, cosy autumn evenings. There is also a patio set for outside dining. There is parking for one car at the front of the property.
