Reviews

The welcome was warm and Forget me not bungalow was beautiful. A total escape and ver clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in East Devon.

Mrs P,

We and our two dogs had a fabulous stay in this cosy, immaculate, super equipped, home from home bungalow. We were greeted by Jamie and Bubs with a very warm welcome with goodies for us and the dogs, very sweet. Thank you! They were very informative which was very useful. We would strongly recommend a stay here.

Mrs B,

A unique and completely safe, secure garden, with a well equipped summerhouse, are both added bonuses to this delightful bungalow. Ample parking on the driveway for one vehicle again, is a bonus. An extremely quiet residential area but within easy walking distance of open spaces, lovely walks and Seaton Wetlands. This bungalow ticks all the boxes and is certainly a dog friendly property.

Mrs P,

Very welcoming hosts ideal for 2with added bonus of the welcoming goodies Best I've ever had. Premises clean and couldn't find fault. Also very dog friendly with treats and chair covers. They knew and loved dogs

Mr A,

The owners were amazing they met us as we arrived. There was lots of treats for humans and dogs. The cottage was beautiful well equipped and very clean and great value for money. The location is perfect for us. We would love to return later next year for another visit, thank you again, for making our experience wonderful

Mr M,

Lovely holiday home everything you need was in there plus more.Garden was a dream to look at as well as the Lodge in the garden was so relaxing to sit and read.Location was good and very quite.

Ms S,

We have just returned from a very relaxing week in Seaton staying at this lovely bungalow. The owners went over and above what one would expect in a holiday rental. From the lovely welcome basket of treats, food essentials, coffee sachets, information folder to the many toiletries, nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. There is a lovely well stocked back garden and we were fortunate enough to have a few warm days to sit outside in the evening. We also enjoyed having a cuppa in the peace and quiet of the Lodge (Summer House) at the top of the garden. We highly recommend Forget Me Not Bungalow and hope to return again next year.

Mrs F,

A beautiful cottage, perfect for two , generously stocked with everything you could require.

Mrs C,

Forget Me Not Bungalow, adorable, beautiful, clean, tidy home from home holiday let. We stayed 24th/31st August 2024. Sad to leave the place. A very warm welcome from the owners, including our little Yorkie dog Coco. Treats for us, dog and fresh bowl water for her on arrival. Didnt really need to take much, theres plenty utensils, towels and freshly made bed to perfection. Going to definately re book. The garden is blooming and gorgeous, with steps up to Summer house, with settee, tv, radio. Really lovely to sit in day or night. Ideal holiday home, set in a quiet avenue. We had the car, so visited Sidmouth, Weymouth, Lyme Regis. All not too far and so lovely knowing your returning to Forget Me Not. The owners have done a grand job!. Highly recommended. Theres also buses that run to Sidmouth, Lyme Regis. Bus stops just round corner on main road. Dog friendly place, even on buses. Xx

Mrs B,

A real home from home a lovely place to stay so clean and so many unexpected extras.

Mr W,

The property is immaculately clean. There are many electrical and utensils in the kitchen. The bedroom has doors that opens up onto a beautiful garden and summerhouse. For me personally, there are too many ornaments around the bungalow, but that's my personal opinion. The owner was very nice and provided a welcome pack.

Mrs P,

Forget-Me-Not Bungalow is one of the best appointed self-catering establishments that we have used over the years. Hosts Jamie & Bubs were extremely friendly and welcoming showing us where everything was and how it worked. The Lodge was a very welcome addition providing a comfortable spot to relax overlooking the well stocked garden. The bungalow is well situated a 25 minute walk from the centre of Seaton and 2 minutes from the bus stops where there are excellent services to local towns and attractions. We love to visit again in the future.

Mr L,

The owners were very helpful.

Mr N,

Forget me Not bungalow was very comfortable and welcoming. Owners made us and our 2 dogs Ben and Poppy feel very much at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack was very good including treats for us and the dogs. We would not hesitate to recommend the bungalow and would like you to pass on our thanks to owners for their kindness and hospitality.

Mrs S,

A very comfortable and well equipped property - and spotlessly clean. The garden was well kept and a quiet haven on a sunny afternoon. It was everything I needed it to be.

Ms B,

This bungalow is a little jewel. The owners gave us a warm welcome and took us through the bungalow to a lovely, free-style garden with many hidden facets. At the top of the garden is The Lodge. This a building with seating and television and an ideal place for a quiet read. The house is bijou but everything is there, including goodies for the do. A lovely quiet place. ..

Mr H,

Delightful small bungalow with totally secure garden, ideal for pets. It has everything you would want from a home, as opposed to a basic holiday rental. It is well situated for days out around east Devon but without being particularly close to anywhere so using the car is virtually a must, though you could walk in to Seaton in about 35 minutes. The rear garden catches the afternoon sun and is well laid out and very pleasant. We were met by the owners on arrival. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Bread, milk and other goodies were provided, as were treats for the dog, all of which were much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property.

Mr N,

Very warm and friendly welcome from our hosts, everything carefully explained. Just like a home-from-home everything we needed to hand. Comfy and warm. Location good.

Mrs T,

Wonderful owners. Went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Mr W,

Lovely well equipped bungalow. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Good positioning for travelling the local area and beaches.

Mrs H,

Very friendly welcome and little extras provided by the owner.

Mr H,

Lovely bungalow in a prime location with easy access to other towns and villages. Property was very clean and so well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras from the hosts who were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely return.
