Description
**Renovated for the 2022 season**
Oystershell Cottage is a beautifully presented terrace property located in the picturesque village of Kingswear in South Devon. It has been decorated with plenty of care and attention to detail, filled with unique furniture and artwork collected by the owners travels around the world. Bright, colourful and full of character. On the ground floor the kitchen and dining room is open plan with a breakfast bar with 2 chairs and a table that seats 4. Through an archway is the living room benefitting from river views and to the rear of the ground floor is the shower room. On the first floor to the front of the property is the master bedroom with a king size bed again, with fantastic river views, across the landing is the second bedroom with a double bed and ensuite housing a bath with wall mounted shower. Leading off from the second bedroom is the door to the rear terrace which soaks in all day sunshine from morning until night, enjoy an alfresco breakfast to kick start the day. Make your way up the steps to the multi-tiered garden, from each level you'll gain more riverview, feel like you're on top of the world when you reach the very top of the garden to feast on the evening barbeque food watching the world go by. There is also a summerhouse at the top of the garden which houses the barbeque and more seating.

Bedroom 2 Double (4'6") bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe. Ensuite Bath with wall mounted shower, w.c., hand basin and washing machine.
Garden Enclosed garden with spectacular river views, can be accessed through bedroom 2, with Summer House, outdoor sofa and table, umbrella and barbeque. Please be aware this is a multi-tiered garden and has very steep steps. Please do not leave children unattended.
Parking A parking permit is available for 1 car for the duration of the stay. This will entitle you to one space in th Darthaven Marina car park a short walk from the property. Spaces are on a first come first serve basis.
Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
Power and Heat: Electricity and heating is included in rent (this works from an AirFlow system).
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Baby equipment is not available however, if you do have an infant you are welcome to bring your own equipment. With the amount of steps in this property it is not suitable for children under the age of 10 years.
Notes - No Smoking. No Pets. Guests are welcome to bring their own baby equipment, it is not provided. This property is not suitable for children under the age of 10. WiFi Provided. Mobile Phone Signal is strong. Guests to provide their own wood for the wood burner available from the village store.
Short Breaks - Short Breaks accepted throughout the whole year - minimum of 3 nights.
