Reviews

The house had a lovely homely feel to it. There was so much room for the children to run around and play hide and seek. One of the children described it as ‘the house in Narnia’. It was the perfect house for hosting as my daughter and son-in-law who live in Torquay came over for dinner a couple of the evenings. It was one of the nicest stays we have ever had.

Miss C,

A lovely place to stay be even better if the heating is sorted

Mr B,

Excellent property, everything you need is there. Only down side was all the steps or steep hill to get to the property if you find walking difficult.

Mr R,

The house was perfect for our family get- together. Plenty of space and well supplied for everyday use. The situation was quiet but you need a car for access to the shops and restaurants. It's a very hilly area. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Mrs O,

Beautiful house, big bedrooms, high ceilings and lovely views from the back of the house.

Mrs S,

The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and glasses and the large fridge/freezer was great. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. This is a lovely house with plenty of space for a large family. The location is very quiet and it is well situated with a short walk to the town centre and the sea, although you do need to be prepared for lots of steps and steep paths. We found plenty to do including a boat trip, coastal walks and a visit to nearby Cockington. We would happily return, thank you

Mrs E,

Excellent, beautiful and well equipped property. If you are ok with hills and steep steps to walk up from the town centre. There is a tight corner as you go up the hill to the property. The neighbouring properties were very quiet and the fact that there is a home aa one of them made the street very quiet as well.

Ms R,

Vane Hill Crest was a fabulous house for an Easter stay for a group of 10 and a dog, despite the weather! The beds were so comfy, there was plenty of space and the facilities were reasonable. it's really close to the town and you'll certainly stretch your legs walking up and down the steps to the marina. I would definitely recommend. It was great value for money.

Dr R,

Lovely big house full of character and in a great location. Had a minor problem with the water but the helpline dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Mr W,

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful property. Great location and was easy to get out and about for restaurants. Our only downside was the house was bitterly cold and the heating took forever to get warm.

Mr R,

An awesome house with plenty of equipment for a big family Christmas dinner

Mrs W,

Lovely house and great location. Mostly very happy with the property.

Mrs N,

Beautiful period style house with amazing furnishings , quality fittings, space and within easy walking distance of Torquay centre. Excellent restaurants within less than 1/2 mile. Very quiet as at the top of the hill.
