The perfect romantic retreat for couples or a solo stay

Perfectly located on the doorstep of the wonderful natural scenery of the South west Devon coast and the selection of amenities and attractions of the vibrant coastal resort town of Torquay, this lovely spacious cottage set over two floors provides the perfect romantic escape with beautiful sea views.

On the ground floor you can find a fully equipped kitchen, with fridge freezer and washer dryer, a modern fitted bathroom with power shower and a delightful, exceptionally spacious open plan sleeping & living area. It has a beautiful king size bed with bedside tables, mirror and wardrobe, 2 sofas a table and chairs

The spacious cottage enjoys sea and garden views; features solid wood flooring and fine antique furniture for a touch of refinement and comfort.

Guests can enjoy relaxing on the comfortable pair of sofas which face the sunny cottage garden and provide the perfect place to unwind with a good book or to enjoy a movie on the large 40” flat screen LCD TV with DVD player. Alfresco dining can be enjoyed out on the terrace

The ground floor is suitable for wheelchair access and features all the facilities needed for a stay. The entire floor is wheel chair friendly with level thresholds.

On the first floor guests can enjoy a further relaxing large living area with two sofas, a smart TV and a full sized grand piano for budding musicians or composers. This room features French doors leading out to the pretty, sunny balcony with amazing sea views, perfect for a unwinding on a warm summers evening. There is also a corner kitchen to prepare a gin and tonic! 

From the property the 22 mile of glorious South Devon coastline is easily accessible from the nearby South West coastal path. Guests can enjoy exploring and marvelling over the dramatic heritage shore with its beaches, woodland trails and picturesque seaside towns including Dartmouth and Salcombe.

The vibrant seaside resort town of Torquay with its wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops and presented to visitors in a picturesque Victorian era resort with palm-lined promenade, pleasure grounds and grand sweeping Regency crescents with harbour walks and local visitor attractions provides the ideal place from which to explore the breath taking surrounding area and coastline, which still provides the perfect holiday escape today.

Parking: free on road parking outside the property and additional parking three mins walk away. 

Notes: Pet fee £40 per pet, please note to clean up after your pets, if you do not then the Homeowner will charge £35 from your deposit.

This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Beautiful property, fabulously decorated. Very warm and cosy with the most amazing views. Well equipped kitchens. Personally would not recommend for taking very small dogs due to the garden accessibility.

Kilmorie lodge has Fantastic peaceful views from downstairs to the living room upstairs with private balcony it is a very spacious apartment ideal for disabled/wheelchair users etc very comfortable clean sofas & bed well equipped with everything you need the owner is very helpful to assist you with anything, i had a wonderful relaxing week and im looking to stay again soon with my family and elderly father who is in a wheelchair, Thank you

Location was fantastic with a most amazing view across Torbay. This side of Torquay was very quiet, close to millionaires road!! With Meadfoot beach very accessible and an excellent large dog walking grass area just up the road , our dog had a great time too. Meadfoot beach cafe was open in the November - great to have close by. Directions to property were very accurate. Property was exactly as described. Very spacious as we used both levels, giving us 2 cookers, 2 fridge freezers and even 2 dishwashers! It was very well equipped , as we catered mostly at home - having found an excellent fish monger nearby in stmarychurch - so we ate local catches ! Property was warm and cosy with efficient central heating. Was a very good base for exploring the area and local walks close by. Car parking was no problem on road right opposite the house. We’d love to stay here again in the future.

The cottage is spacious and comfortable with plenty of crockery and kitchen utensils. The balcony is a great place to watch the lovely view over the bay. The heating was great and provided a cosy place to return to at the end of the day. We would go again.

Had a fantastic week staying at this beautiful cottage. The views were breath taking of the sea waking up every day .very quite clean area. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean cottage .you had everything you need .would definitely recommend this Beautiful cottage and the location is so beautiful and the views are amazing .we went on some beautiful walks in the location
