Shopping in Swanage and Studland

Unusually for such a small seaside town, Swanage has more than just the beach and gift shops you would expect to find. In the town centre there are some major retailers but most are independently run shops, ranging from outdoor adventure clothing and equipment, to toy shops, clothing outlets, art and sculpture studios as well as a couple of small brand name supermarkets.

During the summer months most are open well into the early evening with winter opening times from 9-5pm. Swanage is also served by most of the home delivery large Supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsburys, should you wish to pre order your groceries.

If you are looking for the large retail shops the towns of Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester are within 20 miles.
