Reviews

This property could be fantastic in terms of what it potentially has to offer. Unfortunately we arrived for our stay to find it has been badly maintained for some time. We had no proper hot water until Wednesday late afternoon at the property, having arrived there the previous Friday. This meant we had hot water for just 36 hours of our holiday before leaving on Friday morning. We also had to deal with a boiler that had an air lock, so made alarming banging noises periodically; in the end this was turned off on Tuesday by a plumber as the safest option. The property is very dusty and dirty and needs a deep clean throughout. The garden is untended and full of weeds; it is not a pleasant space to sit outside. Do not waste your annual leave booking this property.

Dr B,

We had a fabulous family get together at The Couting House! It is a spacious, well equipped house; the kitchen diner is a great social area. The location was second to none and we were happy spending time in West Bay wandering around and just enjoying being next to the sea. The garage/games room is a great, useful space. The conservatory is lovely, we spent alot of time there.

Mrs C,

Excellent cottage. Ideal location. I found the shower a bit awkward to step into and out of, even with the little step provided. Apart from that, it was a great place to stay and I thoroughly recommend the Counting House.

Mr C,

Great location. Cute cottage.
