Description

A second floor flat, only a five minute walk from the town centre and beach over looking the church and close to the Millpond. The property is accessed from the first floor at the rear of the building with a short flight of stairs. Situated in the older part of the town close to local shops The Black Swan Public House and Love Cake. This light and airy flat has views over the town and across to the Purbeck Hills from the lounge.

The flat offers comfortable accommodation and is well located as Swanage town centre is within 5 minutes walk where you will find a broad choice of shops, eateries and bars. The sandy beaches make for a great escape at anytime of the year and Durlston Country Park is a perfect place to explore and take in the stunning coastline. Further afield are Corfe Castle, Studland, Poole Harbour and The Blue Pool.

Although the flat is a little dated we loved our stay here. The parking space is very convenient for the close location to the town and the shop around the corner very handy! The beds were very comfortable and we slept really well. Swanage is such a brilliant place and there is lots you can walk to and explore from the great location of the flat. The only thing we really struggled with was the seating in the living room; more like office chairs than sofas and they were uncomfortable. Otherwise the great location made this a good place to stay.

The property was well placed for the town, beach and bus/heritage rail station. Having its own parking spot was very useful as properties with off road parking are hard to find. Both bathroom and kitchen are a bit tired and could do with an upgrade. The kitchen had plenty of crockery, pans etc. Cleanliness was generally ok. Overall, given the price charged, the property was good value for money.

This was our 2nd stay at 7 Wilson Court. The flat furniture had been updated over the winter and was much improved. The Original Cottages office is next door and they were very helpful and quick to sort out the issue we had where we couldn’t open the bathroom window. I have read previous reviews about a neighbour smoking and can say that we smelt nothing like that on either stay. The flat is extremely well priced in comparison with other properties in the area and has a parking space and is extremely well placed. I’d definitely recommend this property for a stay at Swanage

Lovely accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen for self catering. Located a couple of minutes walk from the local Spar and less than ten minutes walk to the beach and shopping area.
