Skycove is located in a very good position which is ideal for the town, sea front and exploring Dorset. The designated car parking space is also a bonus. We enjoyed our stay and although the flat is reasonably comfortable it would benefit from work , in some areas, to modernise it.

We enjoyed our week at Skycove. It is well located and has all you need for a relaxing stay. You can walk down to the village easily and the walk back up is not too steep. There are very pleasant views of the mountains and a glimpse of sea. You can see the smoke of the steam train going through the trees which is fun. A good feature is the dining table in front of the lounge window which allows enjoyable views of the roofs and chimneys, mountains and sea as you dine.

This flat is ideally situated only a short walk into Swanage town centre. It has great views towards the hills and you can see the sea from the property. It is comfortable and provides you with most of the amenities you would require. However it would have to be described as a basic, no frills accommodation which has a dated feel. The modern traveller would expect more modern, updated facilities and more attention to the design of the interior to enhance a stay. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and a decent base for exploring the surrounding area but does need work.
