Reviews

Good location for walking into the town centre. Be prepared for lots of hills and steep slopes, people with walking issues beware.

Mr J,

Unclean. Mold in bathroom. Furniture very uncomfortable.

Mrs B,

A lovely little cottage on Swanage high street. Exposed beams and stone work make it feel extra special. A very short walk down to the town centre and up the high street to The Black Swan.

Mr K,

Two Hoots is a lovely, historic stone cottage in the heart of Swanage. It is a charming place to stay, and close to all Swanage's attractions with the town centre, beach, shops, train station, theatre and pier only a few minutes stroll away. Two Hoots is also the perfect base to explore the surrounding Purbeck area, with fantastic walks along the Jurassic Coast to the east and west that you can get to on foot in just a few minutes, as well as being only a short drive to Corfe Castle, Wareham, and RSPB Arne. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and hope to return before too long.

Mr B,

A lovely cottage in a great location with all amenities. The owner kindly left flowers and biscuits for us which was a sweet gesture!

Miss J,

All in all, we enjoyed the cottage and local pubs/ eateries. Swanage and the surrounding area were a pleasure in the English summer that we enjoyed. It only rained all the first night but after that, the courtyard at the rear of the cottage became nicely sunny and a pleasure to be in

Mr A,

Lovely character cottage, close to lots of pubs, restaurants and shops and of course the beach, but tucked away on a quieter road. Courtyard tiny, but just enough room to sit and have a coffee. Very pleasant place.

Miss D,

Cosy, comfy and very well situated. Charming in its quirkiness.

Mrs S,

A lovely quirky little cottage, a short walk from the beach, bars and shops.

Mrs B,

Two Hoots is a wonderfully quirky historic little cottage in a great location for exploring Swanage. We easily found on street parking a few minutes walk away,

Mrs A,

Fantastic location a few steps from shops, pubs and the beach. Quite cosy when heaters used. Well equipped small kitchen. Seating could be more comfortable. Not ideal if you struggle with steps. We couldn’t open lounge or bedroom windows. Front door lock was a bit sticky and struggled to get out one morning. We had a lovely break with coastal walks, pub meals and sea air.

Mrs P,

Hopefully the bedding is checked without relying on guests to strip the beds. It should not be assumed that any bedding left on the beds has not been used. Some guests might not like having to strip the beds at the end of their stay. This won’t prevent us staying again but it was quite unpleasant and should be noted.

Ms H,
