Reviews

Fantastic location and views. 10 minute walk into Swanage town. Apartment was spacious, well equipped and accommodated a large family get together. Wonderful holiday.

Mrs P,

A beautifully located property with amazing sea views. Combination of bedrooms suited our family perfectly. Well equipped kitchen and lovely long dining table made cooking large meals very easy. 15 minute walk into town along the road or sea front was very manageable.

Mrs H,

We had a brilliant Christmas. The house enabled us to have the family together with children, grandchildren and grandparents. The kitchen was equipped for that sort of occasion as were the size of the tables. The lounge was very comfortable and the location enabled us to leave the cars and just walk out of the door. Swanage is a great place for the whole family even in winter. Unfortunately the sea was like a millpond. We were hoping for a rough sea, but you can't have it all! :-)

Mrs W,

My family have stayed at 3 Dolphin House a few times and find it a wonderful place to spend a week or two. It’s very roomy, bright and airy with terrific views over Swanage bay. Being so close to the Lifeboat station, it’s really exciting to see the lifeboat going out from the living room window and it’s also great for seal watching ( if you’re lucky!). Our grandchildren love swimming in the sea right outside which makes it ideal for drying them off quickly. A lovely place to make wonderful family memories.

Mrs C,

After visiting Dolphin house for over 20 years it hasn't lost its appeal and you cant beat the location

Mr B,

We really enjoyed our stay, the view was amazing. I wouldn’t recommend the property to someone with mobility problems due to the hill down from the car park and the unevenness of the coastal path and also the amount of stairs in the property. The television in the living room is far too small for the size of the room. The wooden sofa is a bit hard and the green sofa is too low, whilst there are plenty of seats for dining, it might be more of a struggle for lots of people to sit down in comfort, especially older people. The very top bedroom gets so hot you couldn’t possibly sleep in it in summer. Not all of the windows open and in the double bedroom on the living room floor, the window doesn’t open at all. Other than those issues it is a nice place to stay, lovely quiet end of swanage with nice walks all around. There is parking for one car in the small car park behind the house if you can get in, otherwise there is a parking permit to park on the road above if you can find a space. For other guests there is a large public car park at broad road, which you have to drive through to get to the property. We left the car at the house and walked everywhere, there is lots to see and do around swanage.

Mr M,

Exceptional views, well equipped family home

Mrs B,

Wonderful house. Fantastic views. Worth the money for the view alone!

Mrs L,

Beautiful house set so close to the sea you could almost reach out and touch it . Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen . We had a lovely weekend here for my friends hen do , and we made great use of the fabulous large sitting room and dining area . Didn’t get to explore as much as we’d like due to the inclement weather but will definitely be back to see more of this gorgeous coastline

Mrs N,

This property is excellent hence the returning visits!! The best equipped kitchen ever. Location and value for money is excellent. Highly recommended
