Flat 9 Worcester Lodge is a first floor apartment which is located in central Swanage and is only a minute's walk from Swanage beach. Enjoy the vibrant high street in Swanage town and the sandy beach. Durlston Country Park sits above Swanage and offers access onto the limestone cliffs with their breathtaking views across the bay. 

The spacious living/dining room is light and airy and there is additional dining seating in the kitchen. The property is well maintained and perfect for a comfortable stay in this beautiful coastal town. With two bedrooms for four people, there is enough room to enjoy a comfortable base whilst exploring all that Swanage has to offer.

Unfortunately the shower unit was in an unacceptable hygienic state. A lot of glasses in the kitchen had not been washed up properly. The light bulb in the kitchen was broken. We had to buy a new toilet brush to replace a broken one.

The flat is fine but the small size of the shower room was a surprise. The location, close to the beach and town centre, is a major draw.

We found number 9 to be well equipped and a comfortable place to stay for our holiday. We were very happy with everything at the flat. On arrival there was fresh milk in the fridge and a selection of tea bags, coffee and biscuits for us. Having a designated parking space was key for us as I’m disabled and can’t walk far. The flat is on the first floor but I was able to manage the single flight of stairs okay. I’m a member of the Countryside Mobility Scheme and was able to book ahead to use a Tramper when we visited RSPB Arne (£3.50 hourly rate) and Durlston Country Park (free hire for members). It was not too far to walk from the flat to Swanage beach and a little further distance to the Railway Station. The local Co op was big enough to get everything we needed for the weekly shop and was by the station. We hope to return again next year.
