Reviews

It was a lovely apartment, but would not recommend it at New Year unless you are party people.

Mrs J,

This was our second stay this year at this quality apartment. It’s well equipped, ideally situated with excellent views of the beach, close to all amenities and has permit car parking. What’s not to like? Well.......there is some noise from the patrons outside the restaurant downstairs and at weekends live music in the evenings, which we could hear, but it was acceptable. However on the last weekend of our stay (11th and 12th October) it moved into full nightclub mode including some kind of “boombox” sound system obviously located just below the floor of the apartment. From around 8:30 to 11:30 the noise and vibration was tremendous, shaking the floor and windows. When it finally subsided the sounds of clearing up continued into the early hours. Not the best night’s sleep prior to having to vacate the apartment by 9:00am Sunday morning. I’m afraid, this time, we will not be back, unless something is done about the nightclub noise.

Mr C,

The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. The views from the front windows are great, never a dull moment watching the world go by…we saw vintage buses, donkeys, flying plant pots and of course the sea. The location is great and we loved being able to pop to M&S for supplies. We travelled by train, it was very convenient to be close to the train station and the buses. We found lots to do and some great places to eat/drink including The Sandbar, Monas, Thyme Out and Billy Winters (a pleasant stroll along the Rodwell Trail). Leaflets for tourist information are now in the Dry Dock, very friendly. We would recommend a stay here.

Mrs E,

The spacious apartment is just a few steps from the beach and offers a well-equipped kitchen. It’s perfect for those who enjoy cooking their own meals. The bright windows facing the sea provide sunshine during breakfast (weather permitting). During peak season, it can be quite lively outside the apartment, even late at night. The bedroom is at the back, but unfortunately, you can hear a ventilation system when the window is open. Light sleepers might find this disturbing. We kept the bedroom window closed at night and ventilated through the living room. The apartment is ideally located for long walks, with everything you need within walking distance. You can enjoy the smart TV in the living room or the smaller TV in the bedroom. The bathroom is spacious and well-equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. Overall, the apartment is in good condition, though you can see signs of wear from previous guests. The washer-dryer and dishwasher are very convenient, although the dishwasher’s drying function was broken during our stay and couldn’t be fixed. It still washed well, and drying by hand wasn’t a big issue. We would love to come back.

Mr S,

What a location! Amazing to be so close to everything, but do bear in mind that, in the height of the season, the fun goes on late into the night. You may want to take some earplugs if sleeping in the lounge on the sofa bed! A clean and comfortable space with a view to dream of. Whether it is your morning coffee or an evening cuppa, you will never tire of looking out over the sea.

Mrs G,

The apartment was a real find with Weymouth being so busy. We really enjoyed our stay in this quality apartment;ideally located opposite the beach, close to the town and all its amenities. We were concerned regarding previous reviews mentioning excessive noise from the nightclub below. However this was not operating during our stay. The bar/restaurant below was a source of very little noise and it's two for one burgers on Thurdays more than compensated for it. (delicious, we'll be back)

Mr C,

Great location close to shops and beaches.

Mr C,

Great apartment . Fantastic views from out the window. Reading previous reviews about the noise downstairs I was concerned but I need not have been . The cafe bar downstairs close at 4 everyday apart from Friday and Saturday music starts at 8 and at 10 it's finished . We enjoyed relaxing after a busy day people watching and listening. Ideal location for EVERYTHING. We will definitely be back. Little hint if you cannot park close when you first get there park on the Pavillion and just get up early next day and you will get a space. Local Asda and a Tesco Express and 2 Wetherspoons.

Mr B,

Very good location needs up to date information on what to do and things to see

Mr B,

Beautiful view from apartment with everything needed close by.

Mrs H,

the accommodation was excellent, well appointed and comfortable. The only issue was that we couldn't operate the radiators. a phone call was all that was needed and we had 2 of 3 working. The next day the 3rd radiator was fixed.
