Reviews

We had an excellent stay at this property. Super comfy bed. For us it's a fantastic location and very quiet.

Ms F,

Comfortable, clean accommodation. Good value for money. Close to great areas for dog walks and the town.

Mrs G,

Great location.

Mr W,

Cottage perfect for holiday, such a shame you cannot access earlier as feel you loose nearly a whole days holiday which you have paid for

Mrs D,

The cottage is located on a steep hill, so those with a young family or disabled visitors please be aware. However the upside side is the view from the property is amazing. You can see both coast and parkland. There is plenty to do in Swanage. The bay is beautiful. Would recommend a visit to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and finish your day at the Smugglers Inn, Osmington Mills.

Mr T,

House in quiet area and only a short walk to town/beach but positioned at top of very steep hill. It had all the equipment needed for our stay., but the furnishings, kitchen, bathroom and en suite were sadly dated. The yard/patio area was unkempt, paving flags dirty and in need of weeding. Plenty of storage space and hangers for clothes etc. Beds were comfortable but no fresh bed linen supplied for our second week. Bath towels supplied were large and fluffy. A missing toaster was quickly replaced with a new one and a broken back door lock was replaced within hours of being reported.

Mrs S,

The cottage is really comfortable and well equipped place to stay. The views are beautiful and the park is only a short walk away where you can play games or just sit and watch the evening sun sets (They can be wonderful and breathtaking). The only down side we found was the location in regards to the steepness of the climb from the harbour but if you walk through the park you have benches to sit on and enjoy that view. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have young child in a pushchair. It is a really quiet location to just unwind so I would definitely recommend it.

Mrs H,

We had a lovely week and were lucky with the weather. Accommodation is cosy and clean with the added bonus of a gas fire on a chilly evening. Those with mobility issues should know that the property is at the top of a steep hill and both loos are up steepish stairs. Nearby park is a doggy heaven. We think Swanage is an excellent holiday destination with stunning views and plenty of superb pubs and restaurants. We have no hesitation in recommending this property and would be delighted to come again.

Rev S,

This is a fairly old fashioned property with all the basic amenities that you require. It is in a wonderful location at the top of a fairly steep hill. It is an ideal location if you have a dog with a large park about 100m away.

Mr S,

We had a lovely week away. The cottage was warm, comfortable, well equipped and in a perfect location. Couldn't fault it in any way - we'll be back.

Mrs C,

Close to the town centre and country parks, which was great. Also close to Corfe Castle and Wareham. The walk back from the High Street is steep, but doable. The cottage is cosy and warm. Probably best suited to a young family. We visited Swanage over New Year and found it to be very quiet, with limited restaurants on offer. We wouldn't return at that time of year, but it looks like a nice place to visit in Summer.

Mr H,

Excellent.

Mr G,

Great location, plenty of walks for the dog. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Mrs K,

Perfect house for a stay in Swanage for us and our dog.

Mrs J,

Location for dog owners good due to being adjacent to park.
