Cottages near North Devon AONB

Within the boundaries of over 42,000 acres of coastal landscape, this dramatically diverse slice of the South West is a stunning setting for any holiday. Stretching from Marshland Mouth on the Cornish border to Combe Martin on the edges of the Exmoor National Park this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has scenery to delight at every corner.

The Northern quarter forms Hartland Point, a dramatic, imposing and majestic formation of rugged cliffs dropping steeply into the deep and powerful swell of the Atlantic. The high coastal plateaus and spectacular rock faces have been scoured away by the crash of waves over millennia forming natural vistas which will leave you speechless.

In stark contrast to the dramatic cliffs of the North Devon coast, this area includes the gentle broad sweep of Barnstaple Bay, pretty fishing villages such as Clovelly and the vast sand and surfing beaches at Westward Ho! Skirting the popular seaside towns such as Ilfracombe and Woolacombe, this varied and breathtaking landscape is one to be enjoyed at all times of year and it has been welcoming holidaymakers and day trippers in their plentiful numbers for centuries.

We don't mind saying, that of the 46 other AONB's in the UK, that North Devon is one of our favourites and we have selected some absolutely stunning properties in this beautiful corner of the world. Catering for all, we have chocolate box cottages, beach side apartments and large family homes with breathtaking sea views. We're sure you'll find your ideal home from home among the hundreds on offer. But, if you’re still searching for that special holiday getaway then give one our team a call on 0333 2020 899 and we'll help you find it.
