Description
Located on the southwest coast of the Isle of Wight, this charming holiday home sits on the edge of the pretty village of Brighstone. This lovely village offers a range of amenities including a cosy pub, tearoom and village shop ideal for stocking up on supplies. Right from the door you can join on of the bridleways and footpaths at the end of the lane, which lead to Brighstone Downs. From here, the famous Tennyson Trail can be followed to The Needles on the western tip of the island or inland to Carisbrooke with its medieval castle. The five-mile stretch of gently curving sand and shingle beach at Brighstone Bay is easily accessible, offering diving, snorkelling, surfing and windsurfing facilities. For those looking for an adventure further afield, why not head out to Tapnell Farm, a family-friendly attraction (8 miles) with animals, soft play, an outdoor play area and much more.
This lovely property offers both a cosy escape with adventure at your fingertips making it perfect bolthole getaway for a small family or group of friends. Take a few steps up to the front door and enter the hallway, where you’ll find a bright, cheerful master bedroom on the right-hand side, with dual-aspect windows allowing for plenty of natural light, and a decorative brick fireplace. On the left-hand side of the hallway, you’ll find a well-appointed twin bedroom decorated in tranquil neutral hues to ensure a good night’s sleep. Further along the hallway, on the right, is the bathroom, kitchen, and finally the conservatory with access to the garden. This area makes up the social hub of the home. The spacious bathroom offers plenty of storage, a shower over the bath and a WC. After a hectic day sightseeing, relax in the spacious lounge where you’ll find a smart TV and comfortable sofas. The large, well-appointed kitchen is the perfect space to rustle up a delicious buffet meal, laid out to serve on the generous kitchen island.
Outdoors, you’ll want to potter around in the large, enclosed garden complete with a manicured lawn and shrubbery. Enjoy al fresco meals on the raised patio with seating and a BBQ, before spending late evenings sat out under the stars. Private parking is available for two cars.
