Although in a very rural location, the city of Canterbury is only 8 miles away: a UNESCO world heritage site with beautiful cathedral, museums, excellent shopping, punting on the river and a wide choice of restaurants. Notes: The property is accessed via narrow single track country lanes and access from the parking area is up 5 steps which lead to quite a steep sloped garden path. Therefore it is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Elham valley and village is an area of outstanding natural beauty on the North Downs, a very pretty village and beautiful drive or walk along the Elham Valley Way which leads from the city of Canterbury through to Hythe a delightful traditional seaside town. There are nice local pubs in the village and a coffee shop serving homemade cakes.
