The cottage sits less than 0.5 miles from the village of Goudhurst, home to a vibrant community and crisscrossed by scenic footpaths. Walkers and cyclists can stretch their legs in Bedgebury Forest and around Bewl Water (both 5.5 miles), or take a trip back in time to Scotney Castle (5 miles) which is beautiful all year round.

The sitting room enjoys dual aspect views of the garden and countryside beyond, while the kitchen/diner will provide a relaxing place to chat while meals warm in the oven. A comfortable double bedroom offers a peaceful and restful night’s sleep, and the spacious bathroom invites you to enjoy a long soak in the bath, or a refreshing shower after a long walk.

The cottage’s small garden has garden furniture and sun chairs, perfect for an al fresco meal, reading or sunbathing.

Very comfortable, cosy, well equipped cottage.Most certainly and without a doubt on top of the list of cottages we have stayed at during our travels throughout the UK (and there have been many). Every detail seen to. We got a warm welcome from the owner at arrival and very much enjoyed the cake and the flowers. Lovely location for those who seek absolute peace and quiet and yet close to ever so many interesting and nice places to visit all around. Everything we needed was seen to. Good working wifi. Nice back yard with garden furniture to sit outside and enjoy the view. Lots of opportunities to walk the area with footpaths all around. We will never have to search for another place to stay ever again when going back to that part of the UK in the future.
