Description
Old All Saints Church has undergone a stunning conversion from Anglican chapel-of-ease, built in 1869, to a luxury holiday home, sleeping up to 6 guests. It is located in the pretty village of Horsmonden in the Weald of Kent, a countryside idyll surrounded by hop gardens, orchards and woodlands. The property has been sympathetically converted into a stunning dwelling, retaining its painted decoration to the chancel roof and offers a great example of polychrome brickwork and original arched stained glass windows. The open plan living area is spacious and has a magnificent double height, vaulted ceiling with glass doors to a comfy TV room and another subterranean snug. The bespoke staircase with glass panelling transports you to the three double bedrooms with the master, on the top floor, boasting a ensuite bathroom with far reaching views from the bathtub. Old All Saints Church has been beautifully styled and designed with different areas for relaxation or simply coming together as a family or group of friends for a great getaway in the beautiful Kent countryside. The property is more suited to adults and teenage children due to its design features. Pub: 0.8 miles Shop: 0.8 miles Beach: 29 miles

Out and About:
Horsmonden is a small and pretty countryside village located between Tunbridge Wells and Cranbrook. In the village there is a well stocked village shop with a deli and bakery counter and a pub, The Gun and Spitroast. Other pubs/restaurants locally: the Goudhurst Inn in Goudhurst, The Small Holding in Kilndown and The Vineyard in Lamberhurst, all with great menus and beer gardens. Great outdoor venues are Bedgebury Pinetum and Forest - perfect for walks and cycle rides and for the more adventurous Go Ape. Bewl Water is a beautiful reservoir offering a fantastic range of outdoor activities – from cycling to water sports, open air cinema and a restaurant. There’s also a few National Trust properties in the area, like Scotney Castle with it’s pretty castle ruins or Sissinghurst Castle with its famous gardens – both around 15 mins drive away. If you fancy venturing further afield and crossing the border, head off to the Sussex coast and visit Rye on the way or in the opposite direction, Canterbury and visit the cathedral. There are many local farm shops in the area selling local produce and vineyards. Not too far away is Hush Heath, a family-run local vineyard that has produced award-winning wines. Book an expert-led tour through their beautiful vineyards, apple orchards and ancient oak woodlands.
