Description
The Old Cowshed is located in an idyllic rural location away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life offering luxurious accommodation for four. Please note that the property is adjoined to another two storey barn and has a secure adjoining door through to the Barn and both properties can be booked together to sleep 12. The Old Cowshed is on one level with wheelchair access into the bright open plan living area and is beamed and vaulted with a cosy wood burning stove. The interior has been artfully created to provide a real home from home experience using sustainable energy with hidden solar panels and ground source heat pumps for the underfloor heating throughout. Enjoy your private garden area with its own hot tub and far reaching countryside views and there is easy access to the Saxon Shore Way, perfect for walkers and cyclists. The Old Cowshed is situated in a small hamlet between the popular Cinque port towns of Tenterden and historic Rye and don't forget your buckets and spades for a visit to the golden sands at Camber . There is a footpath which will take you to the pet friendly Ferry Inn - renowned for its Rye Bay Scallop foodie events in February and for quality local fare.
