Sleeping up to 16 people, these three stunning properties are the ideal celebration venue for family and friends to get together. On a working vineyard and surrounded by open countryside on the edge of Romney Marsh, Churchlands is situated along a quiet country lane in a truly idyllic location close to the Saxon Shore Way which is ideal for walking and cycling. Having been luxuriously finished each barn conversion offers outstanding accommodation for every guest. The whole family will love the enclosed garden and hot tub that accompanies each property.

Standing on its own, Glebe Cottage, which sleeps 4 and welcomes a well behaved pet, is a pretty cosy barn with its own wood burning stove. The Old Cowshed, which also sleeps 4, is equally well presented and offers stunning views across the landscape. There is ramp access for anyone that has mobility issues. Adjoining The Old Cowshed is Churchlands Barn (which sleeps 8) - the largest of the three properties and the heart of the home. Its open plan living and dining space has more than enough room to seat everyone, perfect for a get together, and its large terrace area is perfect for enjoying the setting sun. All three properties are light, spacious, and well equipped, and with the stunning views over the countryside you will feel on top of the world. The complex has been designed with nature in mind and sustainable energy systems with a ground source heat pump, solar panels and underfloor heating have been used in the eco design of these properties. Garden: Each property has its own enclosed garden, garden furniture, charcoal barbecue and hot tub.  Towels for use in the hot tub can be hired on arrival

Parking:  Parking on a paved area to the side entrance outside Churchlands Barn with more parking available to the front of the property
Notes:  Details of a caterer are provided with your arrival instructions if required.  There is storage for bicycles and logs are provided free of charge for the wood stove. If you are a group of 12, consider Vineyard View TN610 which combines Churchlands Barn and the Old Cow Shed. There is also a new property, The Stables at Churchlands Barn T29685 sleeps two and welcomes 1 dog as well as The Lookers Legacy TN618 to sleep 2 within an easy walk of Churchlands and welcomes 1 dog.

Reviews

Family of 13 stayed in July 2024. Churchlands was a wonderful venue for us all to spend time together. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge space was excellent and we loved sitting outside and looking across the vineyards over breakfast in the morning. The table football table was a welcome (competitive) surprise and the owners were responsive and helpful when we contacted them mid-stay. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday and venue, and we'd love to return again another year. Many thanks.

Churchlands Barn plus Glebe Cottage and the Old Cowshed were absolutely marvellous for our extended family holiday. We all had plenty of space to relax in and the view over the vineyard and countryside was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub too. The houses are well provided for in terms of bathrooms and fridge / freezer space - there is even a wine fridge.

Churchlands was a fabulous place to have as our base for our daughter and now son in law’s wedding nearby. We took all three properties which gave us perfect flexibility combining privacy and the ability for the two families to all be together. The location is dreamy with the views over the vineyard. Everything was provided to a high standard eg linen, towels etc, but also little touches that made it personal too. The owners are so nice and friendly. Can only say a massive thank you to them for a wonderful week!

Fabulous property that suited a three families get together. It has all the benefits of a modern property, but the use of oak frame means it just feels congruent with the countryside. Location is stunning (and the weather was perfect). It is the most delightful part of Kent. Beautiful views and total tranquility.
