Reviews

I thoroughly enjoyed 3 Stable Mews. It is close to the common, easy to access scenic sights nearby and the gardens are gorgeous. I loved the farm shops. One small niggle was the steps down to the bathroom.

Ms K,

Lovely small cottage within easy walking distance to centre of town. Very quiet and nice feel. We had some issues with one of the mattresses that was dealt with swiftly. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was very sweet, down rather tight spiral steps and quite 'cosy' but all usable! Unfortunately you are not able to sit out at this property, there are two rather old and uncomfortable chairs across the courtyard (not sure who they belong to!?) but as a family of four this was not helpful. We visited in August and had great weather, but not being able to sit out nor dry any items outside was a real shame. In fact a very friendly neighbour asked us to remove the direr as it was not allowed even for half an hour and suggested we ought to have been informed -eek! We resorted to using the heated drier that is thankfully supplied but it did feel a little uncomfortable using a heated drier 24/7 to dry towels/ bathers/any washing etc as there was no where else to dry anything, in 30degree heat outside!

Mrs B,

Delightfully quirky property in a lovely, quiet location on the edge of Tunbridge Wells town. Spec’d to a very high standard; there was nothing we wanted for comfort or cooking. Would book again without hesitation.

Mrs C,

The open plan and high ceiling in the sitting room gives a great sense of space, but, since warm air rises, the warmest part of the accommodation appears to be the first floor landing. Luckily, during the week we stayed the weather conditions grew warmer and brighter so this issue did not present much of a problem. We would very much like to stay here again. Number 3, Stables Mews together with the other conversions are in a very useful and delightful location.

Mr M,

The cottage is lovely, and is a welcoming space, with comfy beds and good supply of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. It is in a quiet, lovely location amongst private residents, and Royal Tunbridge Wells town centre and attractions are within walking distance. It has a good parking space for 2 vehicles. Kent and surrounding counties are beautiful and full of National Trust properties/gardens and other beautiful areas and places of interest. We had 2 lovely meals at Mount Edgecombe Restaurant over the main road from the property. Will certainly return if we go to that area of the country again.

Mrs F,
