Reviews

Nice comfortable villa in a great location to explore the Lakes district. Quiet area nice neighborhood. We would recommend.

Mr W,

we had a lovely holiday, nice location for beach, walks for our little dog.

Mrs R,

Nice clean house Reasonable location for seeing the lake district Nice safe enclosed garden for dogs

Ms C,

Nice location and base however I do feel it was a bit pricey for a weeks stay. It would of been a nice touch to have recieved a welcome pack on arrival. All in all we did enjoy our stay. Thanks

Mrs L,

Based in a lovely area with great walks to go on. We had a few issues which spoiled our stay. Which I reported.

Ms C,

Great property that we booked very last minute. Lovely welcome pack and lots of store cupboard provisions - Salt, pepper, flour, oil etc. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely back garden to sit out in. Overall a comfortable property near but not on the main road that leads to Ulverston. Would recommend the Anglers Arms pub for good food. Will certainly stay here again if we head to this part of the world

Mrs F,

Lovely place to stay. Great base to explore the Lakes from. Some lovely places to walk to straight from the cottage. For the price charged it’s an excellent property.

Ms N,

Lovely cottage on the edge of the lakes very close to lake windamere and other exciting things to do. Everything you need for a family break.

Miss R,

We enjoyed a lovely stay here with our 2 dogs. The cottage has everything you need and the weather was good so we were able to enjoy sitting in the garden on an evening. The location is good for exploring the South Lakes just a shame nowhere to walk to on an evening for a drink, the nearest pub is on a busy road so have to drive. The cottage was great for a weeks stay, just a few cobwebs in bedrooms and could do with a more comfy sofa for relaxing after a days walking. Was value for money and would return.

Mrs W,

Cosy, comfortable cottage, near to Haverthwaite Railway, Lake Windermere & Grizedale Forest which make good days out. The local village has an interesting history if you take a walk to the river.

Mr C,

Located just off the main road, is good for getting to Windermere and onto other lakes. Road noise a little annoying. Cottage is well kept and great for a couple or small family. Enclosed back garden great for a dog. Easy walk to two pubs both doing great food. Would stay again.

Previous Customer,

A great little cottage as a base for exploring. A lovely homely feel and very cosy.

Mrs R,

Very clean and comfortable. We went in between Christmas and New Year for somewhere to relax, chill and basically to do nothing. The property was perfect and had everything we needed. Would recommend to anybody. Enjoyed our stay!!!!

Mr R,

We had a fantastic time, a lovely cottage in a great location. The local pub 'The anglers arms' even fitted us in for Christmas dinner at very short notice.

Mr B,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at dawn cottage. It was a very quiet & peaceful location just what we were looking for!
