This memorable property, won by its current owners as part of the Omaze competitions, sleeps up to 12 people and makes the most of its location, with floor-to-ceiling windows, and the luxury of a sauna, steam room and gym, built into the hillside and accessed via the garden.  

Not to be forgotten is the unrivalled location of Post Knott Lodge – being an easy walk away from the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, where you can sample some cocktails or choose from a selection of champagnes in the Fizzy Tarte. If fine dining is more your style, enjoy eating out at one of Cumbria’s 7 Michelin star restaurants, the HRiSHi in Bowness, or the L’Enclume in the nearby village of Cartmel.

Looking for things to do on your stay? Charter a private skippered yacht on Windermere, enjoy a breath-taking experience in a Gyroplane, or head up in a hot air balloon ride which launches close to Windermere. For a more relaxing activity, enjoy a self-drive boat on Windermere to enjoy the views at your own pace, or Sail ‘n’ Dine, where you can drop anchor in one of Windermere’s many secluded bays and enjoy a glass of champagne. If you fancy exploring the fells without walking boots, why not take the wheel of a specialist Kankku 4x4 vehicle, for a real off-road adventure from their command centre in Windermere.

Kitchen: 2 x built-in electric ovens, electric induction hob, American-style fridge and freezer, 2 x dishwashers, wine fridge, coffee machine, two breakfast bar stools and Sonos speaker.
Dining area: Dining table to seat 12, comfy seating, bi-fold patio doors leading to patio and garden, and Sonos speaker.
Sitting room: Wood burner, comfy seating, patio doors leading out onto the patio and garden, and Sonos speaker.
Buttermere Bedroom: Super king size bed (6' - may be unlinked to form 3' twins), dressing table and hanging rail, En suite Bathroom: Walk-in shower, feature basin and w/c.
Utility Room: 2 x washing machines, 2 x tumble dryers, airers, basin, storage cupboards and microwave. 
Cloakroom: Basin and w/c.

FIRST FLOOR:

Windermere Master Bedroom: Super king size bed (6' - may be unlinked to form 3' twins), large walk-in dressing room, with dressing area, feature effect fireplace, Juliet balcony with panoramic views across Windermere, En-suite Bathroom: Walk-in shower,with handheld shower, twin basins, w/c.        
Thirlmere Bedroom: Super king size bed (6' - may be unlinked to form 3' twins), fitted double wardrobe, dressing table, patio doors leading out onto balcony with views across Windermere, Sonos speaker.
Coniston Bedroom: Super king size bed (6' - may be unlinked to form 3' twins), sofa, chest of drawers, hanging rail, views of Windermere.
Derwentwater Bedroom: Super king size bed (6' - may be unlinked to form 3' twins), fitted wardrobe, dressing table. En suite Bathroom: Rainfall shower, basin, w/c. please note there is a step down into the bedroom.
Family Bathroom: Bath (thermostatic shower over), basin, w/c.

SECOND FLOOR:
Ullswater Bedroom: Super king size bed (6' - may be unlinked to form 3' twins), wardrobe nook, chest of drawers, seating area with sofa and comfy seating (please note this area has a sloping ceiling) and Juliet balcony with panoramic views across Windermere. En-suite Bathroom: Rainfall shower, basin, w/c.

LOWER GROUND FLOOR (ACCESSED VIA THE GARDEN):

Gym, Steam Room and Sauna: Steam room and sauna, with handy changing room, w/c and shower room. Gym is fitted with a Peloton bike, water resistance rowing machine, exercise bench, weights and Smart TV. There is additional space next to the floor to ceiling mirrors for Pilates or yoga on the matting. (Yoga mats are not provided but may be sourced locally).

Garden & Parking: Parking for six vehicles on the driveway, accessed up a private road and inside wooden electric gates. Enclosed lawned garden, patio, outdoor table and chairs to seat 12, undercover seating area with gas barbecue, external wood burner and 60” smart TV. sun loungers, views over Windermere.

Sorry No Pets: Please note this property is not suitable for people with an allergy to dogs.
Power and Heat: Heating and electricity included in rent; Oil fired central heating, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and lower ground floors. Heated towel rails in all bathrooms and en-suites.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen, towels and bathrobes provided (please use the separate towels provided for the steam room, gym and sauna).
Baby Equipment: Highchair, travel cot - please request in advance. Other equipment not provided but may be hired locally.
