Description
This delightful property is set in mature well stocked gardens and tucked away at the end of a very quiet private driveway centrally located in the village of Grasmere.
Greenheys is a warm and comfortable property from which to explore the many walks, trails, attractions and events that the Lake District has to offer.
The living room is light and bright with views over the garden. With comfortable sofa and chairs, you can sit with a book and watch the birds or cosy up in front of the gas fire on those cold winter evenings. The kitchen diner is well equipped with everything you need to make a hearty supper and sit together to plan your next day. Also on the ground floor, you will find a triple bedroom with a double and single bed and en suite shower.
Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms, separate wc and bathroom.
Grasmere is the perfect place for walking and cycling with many walks and cycle routes passing by the beautiful fells and lakes. The village itself has a selection of restaurants, bars, and shops which you can enjoy, as well as a great bus service to enable you to explore the rest of the Lake District.
GROUND FLOOR
Enter into hallway from front door which leads into:
Living Room: With comfy sofa and armchairs, gas fire, smart TV, Bang & Olufsen surround sound speakers and a writing desk completes this room.
Kitchen/Diner: A full range of wood units with work surfaces, an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, upright fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. At the end of the kitchen, there is a wooden dining table and chairs, dresser and sideboard.
Bedroom 1: A double bedroom with an additional single wood framed bed, perfect for families with a small child. Pine chest of drawers and wardrobe, bedside tables and door which opens onto the garden at the rear of the property. Please contact us at the time of booking if you require the additional bed. The property can only occupy 6 guests and a 7th guest is not permitted at the property. The single bed is available should the room want to be utilised as a family room only.
En-Suite shower room: Shower, washbasin, WC, illuminated mirror with shaving point and heated towel rail.
Staircase to the First Floor:
FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 2: A large room with king-size bed, bedside drawers, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and lovely views over the garden and beyond.
Bedroom 3: This room offers a double bed with bedside tables, writing bureau, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: With a corner bath, wash basin and heated towel rail.
Separate WC: with wc and wash hand basin.
Outside: To the front of the property is a gravelled driveway where you can park two small cars or one large one. The garden wraps around the property with lawned and well stocked borders. Please note that the garden is not secure with gaps in hedges, there are two glass greenhouses at the rear of the property and an uneven path so children must be supervised at all times.
Pets: Not accepted at this property.

Grasmere is a picturesque village in the beautiful Lake District National Park. Famous for being the home of notable poet William Wordsworth. The village has a large selection of restaurants, bars, and shops for you to enjoy, and don't forget the world-famous gingerbread shop which has been producing award-winning delights since 1854. The village is the perfect location to explore the rest of the Lake District National Park it has a fantastic bus service on your doorstep.
