Description
Fell House is a warm and friendly Victorian Lakeland house with lots of period charm, built in circa 1884. It has retained many of its original features, including pitch pine staircase and doors and white marble fireplaces, while being a welcoming and comfortable family property. It is situated in an elevated position, in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet only a 2 minute walk from Keswick Town centre in one direction and the river and Fitz Park in the other. It is ideally located close to shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, parks, Keswick Theatre by the Lake and Derwent Water, The Queen of the Lakes. Keswick is the perfect place for walking and cycling with many walks and cycle routes passing by the beautiful fells and lakes.
On the ground floor, the sitting room is light and bright with comfortable sofas and chairs, where you can relax and cosy up in front of the open fire on those cold winter evenings. A second lounge is perfect for some quiet time, sitting with a book or watching the smart TV. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with everything you need to make a hearty supper. A 12-seater family dining table, allows everyone to sit together to eat some fabulous local produce and plan your next day's adventures. An exciting bonus is the adjoining breakfast/games room with a full size Garlando Coperto Football table for some pre- or post dinner entertainment. Further entertainment is provided by the Sonos bluetooth speakers in each ground floor room which can be enjoyed individually or together.
On the first floor, you will find three en suite bedrooms, a further twin bedroom and a separate shower room. Upstairs again, you will find two more en suite bedrooms.

Location
Keswick
The town of Keswick rests between the imposing Skiddaw mountain within the Lake District National Park and the majestic Derwentwater lake. This is a wonderful location that places visitors within the heart of the Lake District with everything from local walks, mountain climbing and water activities right on their very doorstep - so you’ll never be short of something to do!
Skiddaw, for example, is a mid-level walk with paths that are easy to follow even in misty conditions. Taking the full trail can take anything from three to five hours depending on ability, but even a brief visit to the area will be enough to take in the wonderful views of this charming mountain landscape.
Derwentwater is a widely popular holiday destination, which boasts everything from local water sports and walks to a theatre by the lake and waterside cafés. The abundance of things to do and places to stop for a relaxing break makes Derwentwater an ideal place to visit, whether you are looking to enjoy an active holiday or would rather simply unwind and enjoy the scenery over a refreshing drink.
Despite being a relatively small town, Keswick itself is home to a great selection of local shops, places to eat and drink and public parks. The Keswick Brewing Company is a popular destination offering excellent local ales from its bar and shop, as well as fascinating tours. The Alhambra Cinema and Keswick museum are great attractions for evenings or rainy days out, while those looking to get outdoors might want to consider the nearby Go Ape adventure park in Whinlatter or local boat launches. Be sure to go and visit the Derwent Pencil Museum!
