Lake District Cottages with a View

Nobody can resist the stunning scenery of the Lake District National Park! You could sit on a well- placed bench, climb to the top of a fell or lie back with a lakeside picnic….where ever you go in the Lake District you can be sure there’s a breath-taking view waiting for you to admire.

There are too many great Lake District views to list, but if you need some ideas a few we would recommend are Orrest Head in Windermere, Claife Viewing Station near Hawkshead, Grasmere Lake from Loughrigg Terrace and Kirkstone Pass looking towards Ambleside. Of course we can’t forget the stunning views from the top of Wainwright’s peaks, there are 214 of them so your first challenge will be choosing which to climb!

You don’t have to go out to enjoy the views, many of our Lake District holiday cottages can be found in beautiful locations, so all you need to do is look out of a window to enjoy the scenery! We have cottages with relaxing lake views and cottages with dramatic fell views, enjoy both types from the comfort of an armchair or garden bench.
