About Vicky
I have worked in the self-catering industry for over 20 years, the first 5 years of that time working on our family sheep and beef farm and running two-holiday cottages alongside my husband, Colin and two daughters Louise and Claire. Then moving on I worked for Northumbria Byways. This has provided me with a wealth of experience from an owners point of view, with tips and advice on how the get the best out of your cottage and reap the rewards. I love the outdoors, walking in the hills and along the coastline of Northumberland. Then afterwards being rewarded with fish and chips or ice cream in Seahouses. The region is so diverse with the sandy beaches from just north of Newcastle up to Bamburgh and around Holy Island then heading north toward Berwick Upon Tweed the coastline becomes more rugged.
