Aldborough is an attractive village nestled into north Norfolk, close to the coast and many other tourist attractions in the locality. The surrounding lanes are great for cycling and walking, the Weavers Way passes through the village and the coast at Cromer, with its iconic Pier and sandy Blue Flag beach, is less than a 20-minute drive away. There is golf, the Amazona Zoo and a surf school here too, if you want to learn a new skill. The National Trust houses and parks at Felbrigg and Blickling are a fun day out, and the lovely Georgian town of Holt with its numerous independent shops, great food hall, cafe culture, antique shops and art galleries is a spot not to miss. It is also the gateway to the north Norfolk coastline much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are some pretty, coastal villages to discover. Cley-next-the-Sea with its famous windmill, Blakeney with its marshes, quayside and seal trips and the charm of Wells-next-the-Sea are just a few you should visit during your stay in this idyllic part of Norfolk.
