This charming, two-bedroom cottage offers a wonderful coastal retreat to couples or small families keen to discover Norfolk’s golden coastline and peaceful countryside. Located in the popular village of Burnham Market, guests are never far from a wide choice of places to eat, shop and drink. Discover stunning beaches just a short distance away, including sandy Holkham beach (5 miles), with its bay, nature reserve, and pine forest to explore. Take a boat trip from Burnham Overy Staithe (1.5 miles) to see the largest seal colony in England at Scolt Head Island. The property is surrounded by wildlife and nature reserves, as well as National Trust properties steeped in history, and the popular stately homes and gardens of Holkham Hall (5 miles) and Houghton Hall (11 miles).

Upon entering this delightful cottage, you are welcomed into the open-plan kitchen/diner, a sociable space set beneath a beamed ceiling, with a country-style kitchen and a sociable dining table for four. Find all you need here to whip up holiday feasts, and after eating, walk through to the relaxing lounge for a peaceful evening together. Here, flick on the Smart TV, fire up the wood burner and sink into the sumptuous seating. A small cloakroom completes the ground floor. Heading upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom enjoys a king-size bed and a TV, while the second bedroom provides a single bed with an additional, pull-out single bed underneath. Completing the interior is a well-appointed family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, a splendid courtyard garden awaits. This is a charming spot to enjoy a quiet morning coffee as you watch Norfolk life pass you by. The picnic table is the perfect place to enjoy al fresco breakfasts and dinners together. Private parking for two cars is also available.

We struggled to locate the cottage as there wasn't an actual " church cottage" sign, just a no'4 sign in the garden. Once we got into the cottage it was so lovely. It was a really warm cottage, the beds were really comfortable. The water was really hot and the flow was so powerful. The location was perfect to get about everywhere. We had a wonderful time and would return. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us

The cottage was very warm and comfortable. Unfortunately the wall electric sockets near the cooker were not working so may need some attention. Just a small thing but the TV remote in the bedroom did not work, it could require new batteries

A Fabulous Cosy Cottage , beautifully decorated and very warm. Not too far from the center of Burnham market ,& great parking facilities . Lovely Log fire , & plenty of hot water .. Dog friendly , which is a massive plus .. A great base to visit the North Norfolk Coast . I would definitely recommend this cosy Norfolk cottage , Thankyou

Lovely quaint cottage with good parking spaces. Less than 10 mins walk to Burnham Market village. Very comfy beds. Kitchen well stocked with utensils etc. Outside space great for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The petrol station at the end of the road is extremely well stocked for all you need. Very friendly staff.
