Description

The perfect coastal bolthole for a group of friends or a small family looking to be moments from the beach and close to all amenities. With the beach just 200yds from the doorstep, this second-floor apartment is aptly located in the centre of one of Norfolk’s most family-friendly seaside towns. There are numerous shops, cafes and independently run shops and boutiques less than 200yds from the property, including the award-winning No.1 Fish and Chips (100yds) and Bucket List (75yds) for dinner, and then Lily-Mai's (200yds) or The Gangway (300yds) for some cocktails. To learn a new skill, why not pop down to Glide Surf School (300yds) for surfboard hire and lessons. You could head to the Amazona Zoo (800yds) for a family day out, or perhaps to Cromer P.Y.O (800yds) in the summer months to pick your own strawberries and have a round of foot golf.

Head up to the second floor where you will find your coastal haven for four. Upon entering the apartment, you will head up a small flight of stairs and cross the hall to find the open-plan kitchen/lounge. The kitchen is beautifully presented and fully equipped for all your self-catering needs throughout your stay, with a breakfast bar to join the chef whilst they’re whipping up a storm. There is also a foldaway table provided if you’d prefer to enjoy your breakfast at the window seat, where you may choose to perch and drink your morning cuppa and watch the sea. The lounge area has plush comfortable seating, perfectly placed to enjoy an evening of watching the Smart TV, sat in front of the wood burning stove in the cooler months. Also on this floor is a spacious king-size bedroom with TV to rest in and recharge after a day of exploring the North Norfolk coast. Wandering up to the second floor of the apartment, you will find a modern and large family bathroom, as well as a second double bedroom with comfortable seating and plenty of storage to unpack and settle right in.

As this is an apartment there is no outside space.

Reviews

Lovely accommodation, the host had thought of everything so it truly was a home from home! Lovely touches upon arrival such as crisps and cookies as well as skincare items to use! Lovely beds too so we all slept super well! Would definitely return!

Mrs B,

As another reviewer commented, don’t make a judgement of the hallway to the flat (this is the responsibility of the building manager rather than the Rook’s Roost’s owner). The flat itself is great and looks exactly like the pictures. There are plenty of facilities to make the stay very comfortable, and the location is ideal: just a few minutes walk to the beach, shops and pier. Great place to relax.

Mr C,

It was great to sleep in a very comfortable bed with good quality bedding, after spending a long day walking part of the Norfolk Coast Path. The bath towels were also lovely and soft.

Mrs M,

Excellent accomodation. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

Mrs W,

Very bright clean and comfortable (don’t be put off by the entrance/ hallway, which is not particularly attractive) but once upstairs all your needs are catered for and the perfect location to either just relax or explore. Would return to this property.

Mrs D,

Thank you for having us at the Rooks Roost. This has been our first family holiday trip to North Norfolk. We have absolutely loved it. A beautiful part of the world and this has been so lovely. Comfortable base for us. We all appreciated the thoughtful treats for us on arrival, all the things that are essential on a holiday home ( good heating, well-equipped kitchen, etc) and the extras like dog treats. We would love to come back.

Previous G,

Thank you for an amazing stay! What and beautiful spot! You've thought of everything ( I'm even taking back tips for our holiday let) Everything immaculate and struggled to leave the window seat! Even for the glorious beach walks! Perfect Spot for a relaxing break

Our first visit to Cromer. We will be back. Beautiful apartment - love it. Lots of good restaurants in Cromer, Hot rocks - Great Lovely street food from Yumy Yumy Great breakfast at Hatters Tea Shop. Hope to come back to Rooks Roost, Thank you for a lovely stay

Previous g,

We have enjoyed our stay in Cromer. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you need. Downstairs bed was very comfortable Nol fish and chips very good. The white Horse is good for a meal and drink and the Gibson Bistro in Church Street is excellent. Further afield: Sandringham is a must - need to book and also Blicking Hall - NT. They are both worth a visit. Rooks Roost is a good location to be near places. Thanks for the treats

Beautiful hidden gem of a flat! Really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the thoughtful details - and trying the tropic products! Lovely, welcome goodies and such a stylish and well - equipped place to stay. Loved morning dips and coffee near the surf club, trips to Sheringham ( Guac and Mole fantastic for setting and Mexican food), Coastal path walks, day trips to Norwich and hopping on the trains, fish and chips from No1 and drinks at the end of the Pier. Thank you.
