Field Dalling is well placed for exploring the splendid coastline and the pretty country villages that abound in this beautiful part of Norfolk.  There is excellent walking and cycling along quiet lanes with many footpaths to explore.  The sea and coastal marshes are only three miles away and two magnificent sandy beaches backed with pine woods with plenty of walks and cycle trails can be found at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham; easily accessible in a short drive.  The town of Holt offers boutique shopping, a great food store and plenty of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants to discover.  Whilst here do not miss out on a gorgeous steam railway journey along the coast to Sheringham.  National Trust houses at Felbrigg and Blickling and glorious parkland at Sheringham should also be on your ‘to do’ list.
