Holt is a popular town on the North Norfolk map. Seek out its Georgian charm and character, art and antique galleries, fashion boutiques, food shops offering the best of local produce, café's, pubs and restaurants. The Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park has over 100 acres of woodland to discover and Holt is also home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, where you can pick up the Poppy Line and enjoy a train ride to Weybourne and Sheringham on a diesel or steam train. Just a short drive to the stunning North Norfolk coast, where you can discover bird watching, nature reserves, enchanting coastal and inland villages, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sailing, seal watching and vast sandy beaches. The coastal villages of Blakeney for seal trips and Cley for bird watching are just five miles away. A little further along the coast road is the current home of the Earl of Leicester, Holkham Hall, which hosts numerous events throughout the year. Colourful beach huts decorate the vast sands at Wells-next-the Sea and Holkham beach is the chosen beach of the ‘Household Cavalry’ who can be seen galloping along whilst taking a well-earned break in the summer.

Reviews

Our 3rd stay, a wonderful base for central Holt. Great parking, quiet sun trap and secure garden, spotless, near everything….. perfect.

Mr W,

Very clean and very well equipped lodge. Also beautifully warm and comfy in the cold of February! The promised logs for the woodburner were not in evidence, but this oversight didn't spoil the stay.

Mr A,

Wow! 10/10 Everything has been thought about for Pippins lodge - we didn’t need to bring anything as the owners had thought of it all. Amazing location which just made it even more magical over Christmas. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit holt 10/10

Mr L,

The cottage was everything we hoped it would be,clean, very well equipped and ideally situated perfectly for our sightseeing. The hamper was a lively touch.Thank you.

Mrs C,

this property had everything we could have wanted, was very comfortable and was in an excellent location.

Mrs L,

Ideal location. Small walk into centre of town.

Mr W,

Pippins Lodge is a well equipped and comfortable place to stay in a great location just a few minutes from the centre of Holt. The shower in the ensuite needs fixing and more attention to cleaning lampshades which were very dusty.

Mrs R,

Pippin Lodge is minutes away from the high street yet is in a very quiet position. It’s big enough for four with decent sized bedrooms. There’s parking for 2 cars. Wooden floors are throughout the property which our dog found difficult , maybe another large rug would be helpful. Holt is a beautiful town with lots of independent shops and cafes to choose from. It’s close to the sea and has some beautiful walks within Holt itself. We enjoyed our time there.

Mrs S,

Ideal location for visiting the surrounding area. Everything within a short distance from the lodge for supermarket, cafes and food eateries.

Mrs K,

Lovely place to relax and unwind. Well appointed and very peaceful. Holt is a lovely place. Highly recommended.

Mr W,

The property fulfilled all our requirements.

Mrs K,

Pippins Lodge was a delight. Great location, comfortable surroundings and everything you need provided. We would certainly book again

Miss W,

It is a fantastic cottage in a great location. We really like the local independent shops and the positive feel of the town. There are also good dog walking sites within a short walk. Our son is in a wheelchair and the cottage is easy for him to get around, with the exception of the bathrooms, which we knew before booking and can manage for a week..

Mr F,

Pleasant accommodation, warm , light, courtyard garden, close to town. Suitable for 4, with adequate supplies. Recommend with reservations.

Mr S,

This lovely cottage is a real treat to stay at. It is cosy, clean, very well equipped and is situated in a perfect location. We had a wonderful time. Made great memories. Pippins is on our favourite list. 10/10

Miss S,

Great accommodation! great location! Great memories!

Previous Customer,

Very comfortable property, well and well equipped. Very handy for walking around Holt and visiting other places - Cley, Sheringham, Blakeney and national trust sites.

Diane and D,

A very well appointed and maintained property. The location is perfect offering easy access to holt and its amenities. we would recommend this accommodation, unfortunately are wish to return is not possible as the dates we need are already booked, which is a huge shame.

Jean and N,

A mother 88 and daughter 63 break! we enjoyed reaqaunting ourselves with North Norfolk + visiting old friends. Thanks.

Patricia and P,

A fabulous break in Pippins Lodge. Great locations and easy walk to the town for mum and dad. great cottage and facilities - loved it and will be back to stay again. Parking is so easy and great. Thank you!!

Previous Customer,

The property is absolutely lovely. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The location is fantastic, just a few steps away from the centre of Holt but far enough away for it to be quiet and private. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back!

Mrs N,

Fantastic cottage, very spacious and well equipped. Location.fantastic for pubs and restaurants.

Miss G,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pippins Lodge with my elderly parents and two dogs. The cottage location and accommodation was perfect for our needs; very comfortable and homely - nicely decorated. Wet room and lots of space in the bedroom were perfect for my elderly parents and their accessibility needs, and very dog friendly with easy-to-clean flooring and enclosed garden. What was nice for this cottage is that you wouldn't have known other dogs had stayed in the past - big thumbs up! Having parking space for two cars is brilliant. We will be booking Pippins Lodge again!
